i have cholesterol and i am using astin 10mg tablets for the last 1 year and now i noticed that some white patches on my skin.....can you explain me for what reason those patches come ? ## Exactly what do you mean by white patches? Is it discoloration of your skin, or patches of dry skin? i have been prescribed fibator for triglycerides 296,tc 207,hdl 40.i am losing weight naturally.does fib ator helps to lose weight? ## Fibator contains Atorvastatin and Fenofibrate and this isn't a common side effect, but the Atorvastatin in this has been known to cause some unusual ones in some people that take it. My medical report says "Atheromatous Plaque is seen near the origin of the right internal carotid artery". I am taking Atorfit 10mg once daily, along with Clavix 75mg as prescribed by my doctor. I am using Lipikind 10mg and Lipicard 160mg after dinner simultaneously. Is it advisable to do so or are there any potential drug interactions between these two medications? ## They are 2 different medications. Lipikind contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin. And Lipicard contains the active ingredient Fenofibrate. And generally no, they aren't used together, because it can increase the risk of developing myopathy and other possibly dangerous side effects. Has your doctor told you to take them both? ## The doctor did not advise me on any specific details. My doctor has just asked me to switch to it.

I have heard these drugs affect liver adversely --is it true? I have been advised 20mg dose every day. The reason I ask is because if you have been taking them for a long time, then most of the side effects should have worn off by now and should only reappear when you increase the dosage or change a medication.

Colestrol ## ## I have severy problems to sleep. Can Aspavor play a role in it? How can I solve the problem? ## I've been on the following drugs:warfarin,Tritace, Plavix,Norvasc,Lipitor,Ecotrin. 2 Bypasses and 2 stents have blocked completely but collateral circulation has been established. New cardiologist has now reduced drugs to Lipitor, Norvasc and Ecotrin. Does this make sense if the full basket eliminated bypass and stent failure? ## I have been taking 10 mg Aspavor every night for the past 4 months. I'm diabetic (Type 2) and 38 years old. Sugar and cholesterol levels are under control. WHAT ARE THE COLOURS AND MARKINGS ON ASPAVOR 20 MG TABLETS ## Aspavor contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin, which is used to help lower cholesterol. Unfortunately, it not available in the U.S. so we have no records of the description of the tablets. Have you tried checking with your local pharmacist? They should be able to let you know whether or not you have the correct tablets. Does anyone else have information on these pills?
