What did the doctor say was causing the breathing problem?
Lipicure contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin, which is used to help lower cholesterol and it's really not going to do anything to immediately help with a breathing problem.

These types of medications take awhile to work and have an effect.
And yes, all medications carry the risk of side effects, even over the counter products, some from this medications may include: nausea, headache, dizziness and joint/muscle aches.
