I m taking Atocor 80 mg for ladt 8 month now. Feeling joint pain specially my legs and thigh joints. Actully last year my total cholestrol was 8.5 then I started ad my dictor prescribed to take for 1 year or more. I had a stroke 5 months back, paralyzing my right side. I am now taking Storvas 20mg and undergoing regular physiotherapy. However, now I have shoulder pain, I cant lift up my right arm because of pain in my muscle and the accompanying joint pain. My doctor says I have to take this medication for the rest of my life. To keep my cholesterol in check my cardiologist prescribed tonact 10 later reduced to 5.After 5 years of no side affects, I developed severe muscle and joint pains,and was popping pain killers and applying gels on effected areas. During a regular checkup, I complained to my doctor and he suggested stopping tonac for a fortnight which I did.Within 2 days the pains magically stopped.
