Atorsave 10 Mg

Atorsave 10 Mg is prescribed to my mom, aged 55. She will be having cataract operation in next 15 days. Wanted to know little details abot this drug. Why this medicine is prescribed? is there any side effect to this?

Atorsave contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin, it is most commonly used to help lower cholesterol.

And yes, all medications carry the risk of causing side effects, the most common ones for this drug include nausea, headache, dizziness and joint/muscle aches.
