I have taking Ativan for 25 years in conjunction with my heart, severe anxiety , which my heart pills do not take care off. If I don't have my Ativan, I get very anxious and eventual my heart goes out of rhythm. Now my Cardiologist tells me I can't get them, because he is not allowed to prescribe them. OMG, what can I do? ## Just an update! I am living in Jacksonville, NC and this issue may have been partially resolved. My Doctor lost his privilege to write scripts for anything other than heart meds, my Ativan was part of the treatment due to high anxiety, which often leads to bad arrhythmias A-Fib. Ativan along with Aspirin and 2 of my heart pills usually get the A-Fib it back down, if not I have to go to ER. My family Doctor was asked by my Cardiologist to take over the script...

i ordered online for ativan, and instead i got atipam 2. the pills i got are peach in color. Can you tell me if these meds are used for animals? i am very worried about taking them. can you help me tk ## No, it is for human use, Atipam is just the name they sell Lorazepam under, rather than Ativan. Is this an antianxiety medication such as lorazapam? ## I ordered Lorazampan (generic for Ativan) I am not familiam with Loranzxit-1? Are they the same? ## Hello, Clo! How are you? I took 8, 1mg ativans mon nite, and 4, 1mg ativans Tuesday nite and now just found out I gotta do a pee test friday morning will it be out of my urine if I don't take any more ? ## okay yall I don't need to here don't do it bc I clearly understand. . .but if I did a quarter of meth Friday at 4pm to Saturday at 2am . . . I could be drug tested anytime from Monday at 8am to Friday at 4pm. . .I weigh 98 lbs and im 18... how long should it take to be out of my system? should it by Monday? if not what can I do to that's for sure will clean my system out???? its very important.!!

I'm trying to verify what this pill is. Could it be Ativan from out of the U.S.? ## I haven't found a definitive match, but from what others have been posting, its possible that it could also be a 2mg Immodium Ad (Loperamide) tablet, being distributed from Hong Kong. One user's comment I saw actually mentioned that they bought a box of these over in Hong Kong (with that same description) and said that on the product packaging it noted that it was manufactured by Janssen Cilag; a large pharmaceutical company based in Val-De-Reuil, France. I wasn't able to delve much deeper than that because information was scarce, but you could always try contacting the manufacturer directly to see if it's something they might know about. I was told I was being given ativan. I expected small white pills with a 57 on one side and stylized R on the other (the Purepac logo) but these are not that. They are small white round with 57 on one side, identical up to that point but the other side has a weird backwards capital D or a C with an I in it or a weird old english font capital T (its so hard to make it out because they are so tiny) it ALMOST looks like a stylized cat eye or cyclops eye... i cannot find this pill ANYWHERE on the Internet does anyone know what it is please? ## From your description, I believe what you're looking may still be a stylized R, but it is the logo used by Actavis Pharmaceuticals, it does look very unusual, especially on such a small tablet. Yes, it could be due to either one, though the most likely culprit would be the Ativan, perhaps the combination of both, or it may be unrelated and do to hormones. If it's mainly irritability, then the Ativan or her hormones should be considered, because the Methadone will usually act as a downer and cause depression. How old is she? Both of these medications also carry the risk of being habit forming.

I had a doctor tell me once that Ativan is a short term med. No longer than 2 or 3 wks. Long use of the medicine can cause dementia/short term memory loss. At the time I was telling him that I had been on the Ativan, he asked the dosage, etc. I told him that I started it in 1994 and had been on and off of it to the present time which was 2004. That was ten yrs for the most part (I would stop taking them from time to time but never for very long}. By 2004 he had me taking 2mg tabs 4x daily. I felt like it was working well for me. I am bi-polar and it would keep me at a good level. Very seldom any severe ups and downs. He about passed out when I told him how much I was taking. He said I should be comatose with that dosage. I am struggling so bad to stay in control. In Sept 2012 I lost my mother to lung cancer (very sudden & quick), then her mom (my grandmother) died the very next day. I suffered a mental collapse a month later & was off work on a short term disability. Then the week of thanksgiving that same year I found out my brother had been raping his daughter(my niece) for years...and he was incarcerated. I was on Nuzak and stopped it to take Ativan but ive become addicted to the Ativan and now i'm going back on to Nuzak because the anxiety attacks are increasing again. I take the 20mg dosage of NUZAK , but during the day I feel the anxiety attack coming on then I take the Ativan .Is this the right thing to do . They are both benzodiazepines, so it would essentially be doubling up on the same drug. Hi my son (28) has been prescribed the following: Adco-Alzam 0.5, half a tabled morning and afternoon and a whole one in the evening PLUS Cilift 20mg 1 tablet per day PLUS Ativan 1mg under the tonque when necessary PLUS Dormicum 15mg 1 at night (only for one night) are all these tablets ok to use at the same time?? ## There can be some risks associated with any medications that you take, especially if you take them all at the same time, or close together. The pill is white, round, small, has a slash on one side that looks just like the 1mg R59 ativan, but on the other side it has a 59, then what looks like a D which is at an angle to the 59. ## I just got a refill for my ativan--except that my old bottle had pills with the R59 and my new one has the D59 that joe's talking about. I found 2 small, white oval pills with a score on the back and the number 20 on the front. I believe they are supposed to be Ativan. I've looked at every pill id site and nothing.
