You shouldn't combine these medications, unless your doctor has prescribed them both and specifically instructed you to do so. They are both benzodiazepines, so it would essentially be doubling up on the same drug.

They both also carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
