I just received my atenolol 25 mg. from a mail order pharmacy. It looks noticeably larger than the ones I have been getting from retail pharmacies for the past 6 years. The bigger one is marked Z65 and the other ones were marked either TEVA 787 or RE 19. Are they the same dosage? Why are they different sizes? ## Yes, all of the tablets you've mentioned contain 25mgs of Atenolol, they're all just manufactured by different companies, which is normal for a generic medication. And there is nothing that dictates the size a pill should be, that depends on the manufacturing process and the inactive ingredients they decide to use. Learn more Atenolol details here. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## is there a difference in an atenolol pill of potency or time release problem b...

GGL7==BLANK 93===787 Z==99= 3 pills description of both sides=these are supposed to be Atenolol, why different #s on these, are they all the same=the z/99 pill is a little bigger ## Yes, they are all 25mgs of Atenolol. The reason for the different numbers is because the US FDA requires all prescription medications to have unique imprints in order to identify the active ingredient, dosage and manufacturer, so if they are made by different companies, then the imprint will be different. Atenolol is a generic for Tenormin, it is used to treat various cardio-vascular diseases, including hypertension. Common side effects may include: nausea, headache, dizziness and hair loss. Can I take extenze with Atenolol 25mg once a day? ## Extenze is not a medication, it is an herbal supplement that is claimed, but not proven, to provide 'natural male enhancement'. i suffer from high blood pressure and the last couple of months my pulse became eradic, missing a beat and adding a extra beat. i als get chest pains wich increase in severity and then go away. i also have a stomach ulcer, could the pain come from the ulcer? my pulse rate is normal when i get these pains. ## Hi Robert! I can't give you an exact answer about how your heart beat would be before a heart attack. Some people feel it coming on, and others feel fine until all of a sudden they're having a heart attack. As far as your heart beating fast or hard and feeling like it's "fluttering" or skipping a beat -- I used to have the same problem and it about drove me crazy. Then my doctor put me on a beta-blocker. It was "atenolol" although there are many others. I...

I don't want to take any meddication manufactured in India, China, Sudan,or any third world countries, I want to Ingest, eat and wear only products manufactured in the USA please HELP! ## HI, Lucile! How are you? I do understand your stance on this and our country does need as much support as we can give…. However, I think that you are going to run into problems if you try to do this with your medication. A pharmacy isn't going to let you pick whose Atenolol you receive to fill your prescription. They generally stock whichever one was offering the cheapest price at the time they needed to reorder and that's the one you get, when you go in for a refill. Unlike your grocery store, they don't offer you a selection to chose from. I really wish that I had better news fo...

please advise what this pill use for what ## Hi Brenda, The closest match I've been able to locate is Atenolol (100 mg) + Chlorthalidone (25 mg). It is a white round pill with the imprint MP 152. The P intersects with the M and doesn't really stand out as an imprint on its own -so maybe it was rubbed off at some point- making it appear as if only the M is part of the imprint. Manufacturer: Mutual Pharmaceutical Company, Inc. Atenolol is used for a number of conditions including: hypertension, angina, acute myocardial infarction, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, and the symptoms of alcohol withdrawal. Atenolol is currently recommended only in special circumstances as complementary medication in hypertension. More frequently one or more of ACE Inhibitors, cal...

My doctor spoke against the Antenolol drug but has specified Nebicard 5mg as an option. Both are beta blockers, but which one will have the least side effects? ## Atenolol is an old drug but the only bet blocker I can tolerate. I don't have edema in my feet anymore and I have more energy and less depression than with anything else. It also does the job for me just as well as any other drug. I take 50 mg twice a day along with a diuretic and my pressure is usually in the 120s or 80s even being over 100 lbs overweight. ## bhushan, since they are both in the same drug class, they both pretty much carry the same side effect risks, such as nausea, headache, dizziness and stomach pain. White Pill with M 152 printed on it. Its roundish in color. ## Hi Kim, The closest match I could find to this description is that of a white 'round-shaped' pill marked "MP 152". This pill is identified as Atenolol 100mg + Chlorthalidone 25 mg, and is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. Does this sound like a possible match? The "P" is sort of infused into the "M" so you almost can't tell that there's another letter there.
