granules and small tab is inside cap which one is asprin which one is statin since i want to avoid asprin for timebeing Dr gs reddy ## I'm sorry, I haven't been able to find this information. Do you know who the manufacturer is? Have you tried speaking to your doctor about having them prescribed separetly or taking the statin without the Aspirin altogether? ## Ecosprin-AV contains Aspirin 75 mg + Atorvastatin 10 mg ... So I believe to answer your question about which one is the statin, it would be the Atorvastatin. As Verwon stated, you might want to speak with your doctor about being prescribed just Atorvastatin by itself...

My mother is currently on 20mg of Omesar daily. She is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and was successfully self managed on 300mgs of aspirin daily. Following a carotid enterectomy she was advised to stop taking aspirin and take paracetamol instead. This was not effective in controlling her painful symptoms and she started to take 400mgs of Ibuprofen daily, which she found effective. However her cardiologist told her she couldn't take this medication in conjunction with her present medication. I would like to know is there a specific reason it is contraindicated?

nothing ## Hi I would like to know more about the mode of actions, adverse effects, dosage, target groups of Grendis Triflusal. Thanks ## Grendis works in 3 ways, 1 just like aspirin, it inhibit thromboxane A2 thereby inhibiting aggregation or clumping of platelet, 2; just like cilostazol, it inhibit phosphodiesterase, thereby preserving cyclic AMP which is an anti aggregant also. I also stimulate human nitric oxide in human neutrofil thereby increasing it's antiinflammatory, vasodilatory and anti-aggregant effect. One good thing about triflusal is that, ublike aspirin, theres 50 % less incidence of bleeding due to preservation of prostacyclin, something that aspirin also inhbits. What are the long term effects of aspirin? ## my father is taken aspirin 30mg this that can cause bleeding in the nose ## It is possible, since it does thin the blood, however, there is no way for us to say for sure. I suffered a similar problem when I was on narcotic pain management. Aspirin can also increase the risk of gastro-intestinal bleeding. You can read more about it here: My suggestion would be that he consult his doctor, so they can check and see if the nose bleeds are being caused by the Aspirin or something else. Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I am on Plavix and feel this drug induces erectile dysfunction problems. In case it is replaced by ASPRIN will such problems still occuror would be finished.
