Ashton Method For Benzo Tapering

Has anyone heard of the Ashton Method as a way to detox off of benzodiazepenes? I know it is more popular in the UK. I’m trying to find a USA psychiatrist who follows this method. A lot of people have had success coming off without losing their minds in withdrawal.

My dr. Did a similar approach. Switching me to Valium instead of Xanax and then we got 1mg, .5mg and .25mg compounded so I could make very small tapers. It was the only thing that worked for me after trying to come off on my own unsuccessfully. Dr. Royble at True Life Center in San Diego. There are also some groups that help you to micro taper on your own diluting the pills with liquid.
