Unfortunately, I'm not finding it available anywhere, either.
Have you tried alternative products, such as regular buffered Aspirin tablets?

Amazon sells it, but you have to buy two bottles which costs about $44.00 plus shipping. Not sure why its so expensive.

Novartis claims that due to a manufacturing quality control issue, the plant manufacturing the Arthritis Strength Ascriptin (500mg); has been shut down. No date for restarting manufacture is available. Join me in calling and writing them!

Ascriptin is the only analgesic I have used in 20 plus years. Always worked fast with no stomach upset. Relieved cramps, eased toothaches, and now arthritis flareups. I will definitively join you in writing the manufacturer.

Just talked to Novartis this a.m., Ascriptin along with Bufferin and Maalox will "start shipping in limited supply, sometime in 2H 2012". They had plant issues. You can purchase product on Amazon.com, however two times the original cost and unsure if product is safe.

I say we should all call Novartis and write to them. I bought some from Amazon at a much lower price
but have run out, with no ill effects from using them.
In some countries aspirin itself is not available w/o a prescription. New Zealand is one such.

We consider the Ascriptin to be nothing short of a miracle.. for some reason, it works better than even much stronger pain meds from a hospital, with no side effects.
Please get this back into production as soon as possible.

Just hung up with Novartis customer relations who said that by calling today I added my voice to the many who have called to request that this drug be returned to circulation. The plant that manufactures it has restarted production but is adding drugs one at a time to ensure quality control. If we want them to get maximum strength Ascriptin to the top of the queue, we need to be very load voice. Call 1-800-452-0051, option 6 to add your voice.

I, too, just called Novartis. According to the customer relations woman, the product is only made in Nebraska, and, apparently, they have NO SET DATE as to when Ascriptin will be re-released. Supposedly, the mfr. ctr. is undergoing some sort of "renovations". Hmmm...She also stated that she's unsure if it will remain OTC, or, if it will require an RX. Let's hope we all can get this again, (over the counter!) and very soon!

I have used this product for years and it is the only aspirn product I can tolerate! I am on a aspirn therapy for heart related proplems! Why do you take a product off the market that is working for so many people? DON'T UNDERSTAND!

I have taken every pain reliever on the market and NONE of them stop the pain.
I have used Ascriptin for years and when I could not find it anymore I called the number on the bottle and they said it would be making the product soon, that was in 2014, but to date I have not been able to find it anywhere....please tell me so I can get some relief from my spinal stenosis pain and arthritis pain...please please help....

I called the toll free number on the last Ascriptin bottle I had and the person told me there may be plans to start making it again....but she could not tell me when....they asked a lot of questions about my history with the drug....I gave them all they wanted to know and said please let me know when it was on the market again...
sorry but I can't make them begin production again....
