I broke my ankle a little over a year ago and I was recommended Artridol by a doctor in Mexico... I understand that it could cause kidney damage, but sometimes the pain is greater than what I can bear so I take 1 every day and I am able to continue with my daily things... ;)

I was given a prescription for ARTRIDOL, two years ago in La Paz, for severe knee pain. It worked instantly and I was back walking the length of the Malecon in two
Days.
However, the real breakthrough for me was when returning to San Francisco, and the cold and damp, I noticed that ARTRIDOL significantly relieved my asthma symptoms. My asthma can keep me in bed for days, especially during storms.But one tablet relaxes my diaphragm and I am able to function and be active.
I am sixty seven, so I plan to continue the use of this life saver.
Read the contraindications and only take a pill when the
Pain returns or the asthma begins to choke me up.
And yes, it does increase your appetite. Keep apples and pears nearby to avoid weight gain.

The stomach irritation is most likely the indomethacin. artridol has 2mg which is half the dose of prescription indocin in the USA. Always take with food and 16 ounces of water.

IT COMES OPUT OF MEXICO, NOT USDA APPROVED. I HAVE USED IT SPARINGLY FOR 10 YEARS; IT IS MIRACLE SHORT TERM RELIEF FOR ARTHRITIS PAIN. MY PA SAYS I HAVE TO BE CAREFUL NOT TO TAKE TOO MUCH. I TRY TO TAKE 1 TABLET WEEKLY; I COULD TUSE MORE BUT DON'T WANT TO PUSH MY LUCK.

In Mexico, reinjured my lower back (old L5 popped disc injury) after Salsa lesson. I felt the disc pop out again. Was taking Nabumetone as Rxed by my US Dr, only take it after a reinjury, not daily. The Mexican Dr gave me Artidol, Rxed one capsule every 8 hrs for 3-5 days. Told him I have a history of depression and hypertension.

I found immediate relief from the Arditrol, but it really upsets my stomach and makes me nauseous throughout the day, so stopped taking it after day 2. I will take therest of the capsules home with me to the US and tell me US Dr about the pills, and make take 1-2 Arditrol caps in the US ONLY IF I really need it and the US Dr cannot offer me something better.

Took artridol for 5 months I have severe pain on my hands, feet and pretty much all over my joints and your right it makes the pains to go away but if you decide to stop taking it consult with your Dr. It can't be stop suddenly you will be in the worst pain ever. I stop taking it 2 months ago and I still in pain. This medicine can eventually kill you because of the steroids. It has too many dangerous side affects Google it and find out.

the drugs in Artridol are all found in the US and USDA approved so there is no danger there. The danger is long-term use of it. betamethasone is a steroid and the 0.75 mg/pill in the Artridol is equal to 5 mg of prednisone. long-term use of steroids will cause osteopenia or osteoporosis so make sure you're taking calcium+D and you really should be under a doctors care getting a BMP every 3 months or so checking your kidney and LFTs.

i'm amazed at how wonderfully (bursitis for me) this drug works but instead of q.8 i take it q.24 and only for a short course.

again, if you're longterming this put yourself under a doctors care and make sure you taper off the drug (to avoid adrenal insufficiency) and don't cold turkey it.

How much Artridol gel do I apply and how often? I have a pulled groin muscle and I have a tube of Artridol Gel that I may have used the last time this happened, but I don’t remember how much.

I have used this for eight years and the only side effect I found is it dramatically increases your appetite. I just went off of it for ten days and could hardly walk. I just took one at noon and one at 4:00 to get it into my system. I just walked a short distance and I am around 70% better already. Artridol is a coctail pill consisting of three American medicines. The miracle here is the cortisone. Any American Dr could prescribe these three drugs with the same effect. Most Dr's don't want to give a steady dose of cortisone. Like one of the other people on this site, why live longer if you don't have quality of life. I'll take the shorter life and have a much higher quality of life. Because of the outrageous price charged by the woman in Klamath Falls I've decided I can fly from portland to San Diego, take the red train to the border, catch the red bus down town and return the same way for less than than making her rich. Sorry to be so wordy. Quality of life is everything !!!!!!

I have been using one pill per day of Artridol for 10 years. I have tried every medicine or combination of meds for years trying to find a substitute for Artridol but there is none. I have had no negative side effects. I use to live in SO. Cal. and would go to TJ and buy it. I now buy it (at a much higher price) online at the only U.S. source, medsmex.com. The woman lives in Klamath Falls, Oregon. You need an American Express card, or give her your bank check info and they will ship it to you from Mexico City. it's safe as I have been buying here for the last seven years. This is as close to a miracle medicine as you will find.
