I take Artridol occasionally( usually no longer than one week at a time). It helps a lot for hip knee and shoulder pain but I get severe bruising on my wrists. I get the medicine in Mexico

I have been using one pill per day of Artridol for 10 years. I have tried every medicine or combination of meds for years trying to find a substitute for Artridol but there is none. I have had no negative side effects. I use to live in SO. Cal. and would go to TJ and buy it. I now buy it (at a much higher price) online at the only U.S. source, medsmex.com. The woman lives in Klamath Falls, Oregon. You need an American Express card, or give her your bank check info and they will ship it to you from Mexico City. it's safe as I have been buying here for the last seven years. This is as close to a miracle medicine as you will find.

I have really bad lower back pain I've been taking all kind of meds and no results but now a Dr. from Mex. gave me Artridol but I only take a pill a day but does not work can I take more? Does anyone knows? Please because this pain is killing me

I live in Oaxaca Mexico. I have Osteoarthritis in my right hip and some in my left from time to time. It is very painful. Arthridol was recommended to me by another expat. I was warned that it could adversely affect the kidneys. So I was on the lookout for it. I was taking one every morning...which turned out to be way too often as I began to have lower back (kidney) aches. So I went to one per week and that works fine. I am careful to drink a lot of water. I dont like to take such powerful medicine, but nothing else relieves the pain. I am 66.

I have used this for eight years and the only side effect I found is it dramatically increases your appetite. I just went off of it for ten days and could hardly walk. I just took one at noon and one at 4:00 to get it into my system. I just walked a short distance and I am around 70% better already. Artridol is a coctail pill consisting of three American medicines. The miracle here is the cortisone. Any American Dr could prescribe these three drugs with the same effect. Most Dr's don't want to give a steady dose of cortisone. Like one of the other people on this site, why live longer if you don't have quality of life. I'll take the shorter life and have a much higher quality of life. Because of the outrageous price charged by the woman in Klamath Falls I've decided I can fly from portland to San Diego, take the red train to the border, catch the red bus down town and return the same way for less than than making her rich. Sorry to be so wordy. Quality of life is everything !!!!!!

I have been using Artridol for 1 1/2 yrs for back and leg pain due to an accident where a semi hit me. The pain has been excruciating and nothing has been able to touch it except this drug! In Mexico, the pharmacy told me I could/should take 3 per day. However, I only take one a day and I am able to do dishes, laundry, make the bed an other daily chores. I am so excited that I found out about Artridol! It is a life saver for me. I wish we had access to it in the States. But until then, I will continue to go to Mexico and get it. It is a valuable drug.

Found 30 Artidol capsuls. This is stashof my dads who has passed away. I Have 2 month old back injury. L-5 and L-4 lombard impact. Daily pain. Does anyone know the correct dose (safe) to take of this drug? How does one go about getting more of this drug without travel to Mexico? I have taken 2-3 daily for last 3-4 days and my pain is almost completely gone!!

Doctor considering Cortizone shots. Almost scared to ask him about this pill that is not available in the U.S.

Any advice that any experienced user of this drug can offer would be most appreciated!!

Hi folks, let me tell you about this miracle drug Artridol. I father has been taking this pill for
Over 25 years and he can not go with out it. If he stops taking it for a couple of days when he runs
out. He will start swelling up from his joints really bad, where he can not get out of bed.

I urge anyone taking Artridol for more than brief periods to advise their phyisican you are doing so. My mother has been taking this drug (almost daily) for 20 years. This drug contains a Steroid that can be very harmful after longterm use. My mother has been on life support for about a week. She is expected to survive, but with many complications for the remainder of her life, she is 74. After extended use of steroids you can just stop taking them, my mother will now need to be on steroids for the rest of her life. Nearly all medication, perscription or over the counter have side effects. Please eductate yourselves and make sure family members know what medications you are taking. My mother has endured a serious surgery and been on a ventilator over the past week, all because the wonderful, and caring medical team could not figure out what was causing the severe health problems that develope when the steroids are no longer available. Please, please, please be careful and don't put your loved ones through this pain. I know each of you take this drug to allow you to function through the pain, but the side effects can be fatal. I wish you all relief from your pain so you are not tempted to go this route. Sorry for my rant.

I have Fibromyalgia and I have been taking Astridol for about 3 months, I feel great when I take it like I am normal again. I still have pain but I can tolarate it more when doing my daily activities....just wish I could get it in the US.

I took Artridol for lower back pain for for almost a month and they completely stopped the pain. I now only take a couple when my pain flares up. Maybe every three months or so.

I started taking Rumoquin (generic version of Artridol) about a year and 1/2 ago. it is truly a miracle drug as it relieved the arthritis pain in my hands and significantly in my knees (i am 67). i play guitar professionally and could not make a fist with my left hand, yet alone play chords, etc.. unfortunately, it does increase your appetite and makes me swell up to a puffy stage.. i understand that is a result of the steroids involved.. one has to ask themself about 'quality of life vs. pain and damage' i would like to find out if anyone else experiences the swelling.. any info would be greatly appreciated (Rumoquin is very reasonably priced in Mexico) we winter in the yuma arizona area so access is very easy.. thanks

I'm being taking Artridol for the last yr one a day with a full glass of water after lunch I suffer from Reumatoid Artrithis/Fibromalgya very painful conditions I tried many treatments/drugs nothing helped me, Artridol it is truly a miracle I highly recomended, God bless

My mother has been taking this pill for more than 20 years. She took it like candy, 2-3 pills a day, and without her doctors knowledge. She ended up in the hospital and did not have access to her artridol. She couldn't walk and was in more pain than what she had before ever taking the pill. Her body went through withdrawls. Thats when we found out what this pill can do. Her doctor has her on 3 pills a week but that was all he was able to wean her body down to. She had red blotches all over her arms and it causes catoracts in the eyes. If you end up needing surgery, this pill may complicate things because it thins the blood and makes healing difficult. This pill was never meant to be taken long term.

How much Artridol gel do I apply and how often? I have a pulled groin muscle and I have a tube of Artridol Gel that I may have used the last time this happened, but I don’t remember how much.

the drugs in Artridol are all found in the US and USDA approved so there is no danger there. The danger is long-term use of it. betamethasone is a steroid and the 0.75 mg/pill in the Artridol is equal to 5 mg of prednisone. long-term use of steroids will cause osteopenia or osteoporosis so make sure you're taking calcium+D and you really should be under a doctors care getting a BMP every 3 months or so checking your kidney and LFTs.

i'm amazed at how wonderfully (bursitis for me) this drug works but instead of q.8 i take it q.24 and only for a short course.

again, if you're longterming this put yourself under a doctors care and make sure you taper off the drug (to avoid adrenal insufficiency) and don't cold turkey it.

Took artridol for 5 months I have severe pain on my hands, feet and pretty much all over my joints and your right it makes the pains to go away but if you decide to stop taking it consult with your Dr. It can't be stop suddenly you will be in the worst pain ever. I stop taking it 2 months ago and I still in pain. This medicine can eventually kill you because of the steroids. It has too many dangerous side affects Google it and find out.

In Mexico, reinjured my lower back (old L5 popped disc injury) after Salsa lesson. I felt the disc pop out again. Was taking Nabumetone as Rxed by my US Dr, only take it after a reinjury, not daily. The Mexican Dr gave me Artidol, Rxed one capsule every 8 hrs for 3-5 days. Told him I have a history of depression and hypertension.

I found immediate relief from the Arditrol, but it really upsets my stomach and makes me nauseous throughout the day, so stopped taking it after day 2. I will take therest of the capsules home with me to the US and tell me US Dr about the pills, and make take 1-2 Arditrol caps in the US ONLY IF I really need it and the US Dr cannot offer me something better.

IT COMES OPUT OF MEXICO, NOT USDA APPROVED. I HAVE USED IT SPARINGLY FOR 10 YEARS; IT IS MIRACLE SHORT TERM RELIEF FOR ARTHRITIS PAIN. MY PA SAYS I HAVE TO BE CAREFUL NOT TO TAKE TOO MUCH. I TRY TO TAKE 1 TABLET WEEKLY; I COULD TUSE MORE BUT DON'T WANT TO PUSH MY LUCK.

The stomach irritation is most likely the indomethacin. artridol has 2mg which is half the dose of prescription indocin in the USA. Always take with food and 16 ounces of water.

I was given a prescription for ARTRIDOL, two years ago in La Paz, for severe knee pain. It worked instantly and I was back walking the length of the Malecon in two
Days.
However, the real breakthrough for me was when returning to San Francisco, and the cold and damp, I noticed that ARTRIDOL significantly relieved my asthma symptoms. My asthma can keep me in bed for days, especially during storms.But one tablet relaxes my diaphragm and I am able to function and be active.
I am sixty seven, so I plan to continue the use of this life saver.
Read the contraindications and only take a pill when the
Pain returns or the asthma begins to choke me up.
And yes, it does increase your appetite. Keep apples and pears nearby to avoid weight gain.

I have been taking Artridol for over 15 years. I have tried prescription drugs and nothing touches the Artrithis paid that I have except Artridol. I haven't noticed any side affects from taking this except for my arms being easier bruised than before and I have a problem from time to time holding my pepe. I am 67 almost 68 years old and I was taking one pill a day and after the pain went away of started cutting back the dosage to one every other day and then I would stay off of them for a week and then go back to every other day. I now only take 3 in a 7day period and I still have the relief I need to do the things I need to do. I will soon cut back to two a week and I think that will still give me what I need without overloading my body with steriods. I am like the man that said that he would rather live a shorter time and have a more productive life. I am having trouble getting the Artrodol anymore because I live in the Austin area and I am having trouble finding people that go to Mexico from time to time that can get these for me. Can someone tell me another way to buy these?
