for back pain ## Glucosamine + Chondroitin is a joint supplement to promote healthy joints during exercise or daily activities in general. It is also used in the treatment of arthritis. Many health food stores and grocery stores carry this joint supplement combination. I cannot say whether or not it will help with back pain..... based on my personal experience with this, it doesn't seem as effective as one would think; but I would imagine one would have to be taking it for a while to notice some effects as compared to the immediate effects of pain medication. I have Arthritis and I just got Rumoquin NF is there something else I can take without the weight gain? ## Rumoquin NF contains the active ingredients: 100mgs of Phenylbutazone (a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory): 200mgs of Methocarbamol (a muscle relaxant): and Dexamethasone (a corticosteroid): That said, the weight gain can be caused by the steroid, Dexamethasone, though it does not affect everyone. You could try asking your doctor for an alternative that does not have a steroid in it, because it is a common side effect to all of them. I was prescribed this medicine to help with the many migraines I get. I get some of them in the back of my neck and my normal migraine medicines (Relpax) and (Naratriptan) don't always help. They do work more for the migraines that I get behind the eyes. Anyway, I am trying to get more information about Nabumetone 500. For example: what medicines are ok to take with this drug and what meds would be extremely unsafe? Ex: I was told to avoid Naproxen. What about Tylenol or Excederin? What about Butal/Apap/Caf 50/325/40? side effects , is it this combination useful ? ## The Glucosamine and MSM are supplements that are claimed to help with joint pain and flexibility. Diacerein is used to treat Osteoarthritis. It is not proven to actually help, but many people say it does. Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I take glucosiamine with MSM, is this any different than glucosaiine with chondroitin ? ARE IMFLAMATORY MEDICATIONS HARMFUL TO THE EYES? ## Instaflex is not an actual medication of any type, it is an over the counter supplement that is claimed to help with joint health. As such, the side effect profiles for it have not been studied, as is done for prescription medications. This company doesn't even list the full ingredients and amounts on their website, the only things they do note are that it contains Glucosamine, MSM and Hyuralonic Acid, which are contained in many over the counter products that are claimed to help your joints. As to actual NSAIDs, such as Diclofenac or Ibuprofen, visual changes and problems from them are considered serious side effects that you should contact your doctor about. all natural pill with gloucosmin to help joint pain ## I didn't find Glucosamine listed in the ingredients, from the website I found, it lists them as: Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Magnesium, NAG, Chondroitin, Termeric, Rice Flour, Boswella, Ashwagandha, Bromelain, Evening Primrose Oil, Green Lipped Muscle and Hyaluronic Acid. And being that it is a supplement that is not actually proven to help with anything, it is quite expensive, our other site users that have called to check the price have reported it as costing over $50 a bottle.
