What is the name of the OTC medication you're considering and what are the active ingredients? I'm not sure if you're allowed to take probiotics, but doing so may be able to prevent yeast infections in the future by reinstating good bacteria in your body. Also, apple cider vinegar is a popular alternative for treating yeast infections without medications. Based on my research, Braggs apple cider vinegar is safe for use during and after pregnanc...

I just finnish take the 4mg pak methyiprednisolone tablet yesterday how long before it out my sistem? ## The length of time any drug remains in your system is going to vary from individual to individual, based on several factors, such as: -how much you take -how often you take it -your metabolic rate -your age and health -body mass -diet -etc... Methylprednisolone however, has an average half life of 18 to 36 hours. This means that it can take the body anywhere from 18 to 36 hours to clear 50% of the drug (after your last dose). You can see here that if you've been taking the drug regularly, then your dosing intervals may actually come before the long half life of the drug and therefore remain in your system longer (due to the higher dose that's now present in your system) - hyp...

What is the tan or peach color pill with the number 75 and the name begins with.letters Met or Mel last three letters are com ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I could find is a round yellow pill marked with "Mel 7.5" on one side and "APO" on the other. This particular pill is identified as Meloxicam 7.5 mg. Although there are obvious differences between the pill in your description and this pill, it is still possible that they could've been manufactured by the same company (Apotex Corp.), since they share similar distinctive markings. That said, I would recommend contacting Apotex's customer service department at 1-800-706-5575, for a more accurate ID on the pill. Perhaps it could be on of their own. The office hours are Monday through Frid...

Thank you for the answers. I appreciate it. I am just doing a research and thought I ask over this website in case other people would like to share opinions. Maybe some drugs could be an answer to underweight people if first consulting a doctor. ## There are actually far too many medications to list, that can cause weight gain as a side effect and there is also no way to determine if any given person would experience this as a side effect. Some people experience weight gain from SSRI antidepressants and some don't. In addition, most medications can also cause other side effects and, if they do cause weight gain, then it is generally only temporary and doesn't last, once the medication is discontinued. This, coupled with the possible dangers, explains why most doctors will not re...

I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. Doctor prescribed Folitrax 15 mg, every monday. Since 15 mg tablets are not available in the available, can I take 3 tablets of Folitrax 5 mg, together? Will it create any problem? ## Hi Granny, The only potential problem I see with taking three 5mg tablets as opposed to one 15mg tablet, is that you are getting 3x the amount of binders/fillers, otherwise known as inactive ingredients. Certain "inactive" ingredients which may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. In other words they could effect the overall absorption and efficacy of the drug itself; so more is not always better in that regard. Some people react to various fillers and their body simply cannot absorb t...
I have MVP and take propanolol and was recently prescribed meloxicam for arthritis. Is it okay to take the meloxicam with having mitral valve prolapse? ## Hi debbie, Based on my research, Meloxicam is contraindicated for the treatment of peri-operative pain in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. I haven't found anything specifically relating to MVP in that regard. But one review I've come across from another MVP patient (who happened to be taking Meloxicam), mentioned that their heart was acting strange on this medication and they had to switch to another muscle relaxer. Although it is important to understand that these medications can effect each person differently, so unfortunately the only way to know for sure how it effects you, is to go by trial and ...
