Arimidex And Cancer

I am about to start this tablet after breast cancer and radio I am really worried about it all and the different types of it! Need some advice

Hello, Gaye! How are you? I'm very sorry about the cancer and I understand your concerns.

The FDA lists its most common side effects as possibly including hot flashes, weakness, joint pain, sore throat, headache, depression and high blood pressure.

It lowers estrogen levels and some breast tumors need it to grow. It's generally only prescribed for post-menopausal women.

What are your specific concerns? Perhaps I can address them better, if you are more specific.
