Anybody Else Get Hives After Linzess? (Page 2) (Top voted first)

Been on Linzess 145 for 2 months. Was having lots of allergy issues-hives and itching on scalp, runny nose, sinus pain, extreme fatigue. Also shortness of breath and heart palpitations. Hadn't had major allergy attack in months but thought that was what was going on. Steroids, inhaler, Benadryl no help. Started paying real close attention to symptoms and realized I never woke up with hives, they always appeared about half hour after Linzesse was taken and improved by end of the day. Stopped taking it and 48 hours later no hives, itching or sinus symptoms. Still dealing with fatigue. It did helps constipation problem although I came real close to more than one accident. Not worth the side effects. Has anyone else experienced any if these symptoms?

Have had abdominal pressure. After taking linzess. Heart palpitations as well and fatigue . Nothing else seems to relieve the constipation. I'm at a loss as to what to do.

I have issues with linzess incomplete bowel movements running to the bathroom 15 or 20 times daily constipated bloated with no relief my Des aren't very helpful and linzess went up in price its a horrible drug but there is no replacement or generic I'm at my wits end very uncomfortable and interfering with my quality of life some has to have a credible remedy or answer for us sufferers

I have gas bloating and constipation with my linzess very uncomfortable and unhappy nothing seems to work although I have a couple of bowel movements every morning but by afternoon and evening I get the urge to go but cant tired of his its affecting my social life e as we need answers and a medication that works

Well, this might be an older post but I was looking for help but I can say that THIS is the reason I started searching for a blog. 8 have been on Linzess 290 since November 2015 so 10 months everyday. Each morning must be planned out in advance so I have time to go to bathroom before leaving house. My dr told me originally take dose in am wait 45 min then eat but then she told me to try taking the pill as soon as I woke up and waiting 30 minutes to eat and hopefully the diarrhea would stop. Apparently most people it stops after a month. Not I though. Every morning it is the same thing within an hour of eating. I have added apple pectin (fiber) and magnesium in hopes of the severe daily episodes of diarrhea going away but here I am 10 months later. The fiber helps I think and so does eating things like oatmeal for breakfast. I hope you find something that works but I am searching now for blogs for the same reason. Good luck!
