Hello, I noticed that Sandoz is manufacturing Lorazepam again.. (the has stopeed for 2-3 years now). I am wondering if anyone has tried them? How do you rate them? Do they make you sleepy? Do they help with your anxiety?? Any details would be great.. Thank you.. p.s. (I used to take them before Sandoz had stopped making them for years and they had helped me worderfully. How should someone wean himself off Xanax XR 1 mg per day if he has been on it for one month for anxiety? ## I would say taking 0.5mg once a day and 0.25mg once a day for a week, then reduce to 0.25 twice a day for a week and finally 0.25mg once a day for a week. Trying to avoid taking 2 meds a little too close together. Does it help to snack when taking prescription medicine (such as Lorazepam or Hydrocodone 10 mg)? ## Food won't lessen the efficacy of Lorazepam, or Hydrocodone, but it can lessen the severity of the side effects they cause, such as nausea, and dizziness. The FDA also warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause other side effects, such as headache, irritability, constipation, and dry mouth. I have been taking Xanax for about a year now. I currently take 0.5mg four times a day with more if I know I'm going to be anxious or am having a panic attack. For a while, the Xanax seemed to keep my GAD at bay since I was taking it regularly. I also rarely had panic attacks. Now, I'm usually anxious and can't function. I have usually around 3 panic attacks a day. They don't seem to be full-blown panic attacks that make me feel like I have to go to the hospital, but they last a while and I spend much of my day lying in bed trying to calm down and I can't hold down a job or go back to school because of it. Yes, I have a lot of experience with Xanax. I just got Alprazolam 0.5 mg that are oval, dark pink and the company is BRECKRDG. Been on them 6 days and they are NOT HELPING MY anxiety/depression at all!!! Very agitated!! I would like to know what type of medication a small rounded light yellow pill is that has a "SP divided by 112" on one side. I have a yellow round pill with 5617 on one side and on the other side it says 5. This pill is scored. I'm in Ireland. Is this true? And how do you know? Yes there are real yellow xanax. There are so many companies that make em now. I'd say there is a good 40 different kinds or more. They come in .25 mg .50 mg 1 mg 2 mg and even extended release 3 mg. And every company has many colors for all the sizes. The best ones are the light blue footballs that are name brand and say xanax on them, and the white square edge bars that are name brand name with xanax on them. They are round edged white bars. There are square edged yellow bars. There are square edged green bars and don't get me started on all the colors of all the smaller size ones. Considering they are different mgs. ## Well, the first thing you need to be aware of is that the size, shape and color aren't dictated by the dosage or anything in particular. Those details are purely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. They can easily make it bigger, if they wish, by just changing the amount or type of inactive ingredients used, they can only go so small with something due to the dosage, but that's about their only constraint in regards to these aspects of it.
