Are Xanax tablets chalky and do they have a taste? ## Does xanax taste chalky at all because I got dispensed some bars that say xanax on one side and a 2 on the other side and they look perfect but do not have that bitter taste that I am used to? Does anyone have any advice on this? ## If it doesn't taste bitter there is no possibility it's real. Hi.. im from Dallas. First let me start by saying every time i receive yellow bars they are always legitimate. Now I have a couple and something is different. They are yellow and have that taste at the end, but my question is are they fake, cause every time i take one i feel them within 10 min. These break so easy! And they just don't look the same. I have these blue round tablets that say they are diazepam. They are a light blue with one side marked with an x and the other side marked ms. They are from cambodia. My doctor and I had discussed my quitting taking Clonopin 0.5 mg. as I have taken for so long, so he told me he would submit a placebo at some time without telling me. Got my RX filled and keep sweating and getting headaches. Could this be from the placebo as the pill looks and has the same imprint as the original one I was taking. I got alprazolam from a friend, and I believe they aren't real. Most yellow 2mg alprazolam I have gotten in the past has had the imprint "R 039" and not "P 039" Does anyone know if these are fake? Because I do not feel anything when I take them, even if it is more than one. They also do not have the normal bitter taste that normal alprazolam has. ## Do you happen to know the country of origin? So if a medicine says Mylan on it, that simply means that they are the manufacturer, and it is not the name of the med. Usually it would say Mylan and then also have some numbers on it. I took the mylan brand 0.5mg xanax for many years from cvs and had no problems. about a year or so ago cvs switched to Greenstone and I Liked them. In fact I think they worked better for me then the mylan brand. Then I called in one of my refills and cvs had switched again to Dava brand. I took as perscribed and started having panic attacks. I didn't understand so I doubled up on my med and they started to work. Im just wondering if anyone has had this experience with Dava brand Xanax the are a big oval shape with a S-500 marking if I remember corectly on the 0.5mg tablets. So I have been on Greenstone Alprazolam for over 10 years through CVS. I always take them as prescribed. Never abused them. They always worked quickly and brought me down from any attack.. Out of the blue 3 months ago CVS doesn't carry them anymore. I tried the new brand they had (Dava), and they were awful!. Did nothing for my Panic Disorder. So Greenstone told me to go to a Ma and Pa Pharmacy, so I did and they ordered them. I was elated. So I get them and took it right away. I noticed they were chalky and were only slightly bitter and it took 45 mins to get any feeling.And the feeling I got was just a little sleepy and nothing else.. That is not how they usually are.
