I was cleaning the house and I discovered a couple of strips that expired 3 months ago. Will they have lost their strength? I called a few pharmacies and 2 basically made out that I would die if I took them. Another said off the record that they'd be fine for up to 6 months past the expiry date? Wtf! ## Diazepam does not become toxic/dangerous once expired, but it can start to lose efficacy, especially if it was stored improperly. Since it may not be as effective, this can lead some people to taking extra to try to achieve the same effect it provided, when new, and that might result in a possibly fatal overdose. Thus, it is really best to dispose of it, and speak to your doctor about obtaining a new sup...
Besides painful scary withdrawal say goodbye to your hair when trying to taper clonazepam or any other benzodiazapine. After taking this a few years it actually added anxiety and problems. People think it works well for them, but just you wait, it turns on you when you least expect it and it is the most painful and fearful thing to go through. Doctors do not knwo how to handle the taper and end up adding more drugs that actually make things worse. Suddenly you find yourself living to avoid all the pain and the physical problems like nerve pain while trying to taper. ## Hello Kate! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about what you're going through. It is normal for your body to get used to any medication that you've been taking for a long period of time and for it to stop work...
this is a white rectangular pill with 4 lines on the front that says 2090 and on the back no lines just a V. Are they real? I heard there should be lines where the V is? Please help!!!!! ## I can also confirm that the real ones have a line on either side of the V. I wouldn't risk taking the pills unless you can have them analyzed somehow first. To view detailed information about this drug, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## The v usually goes up At the ends ..... Like old type writing but no lines on either side.trust me I have been prescribed them for years. Good luck :)Shellz ## Hi Shellz, I'm looking at a drug database photo of this specific pill right now, and you may have me misu...
I have been on klonopin 1mg for 4 months after an acute mixed manic episode. When I asked my psychiatrist if I could taper at 10% (.125mg) every 2 weeks her answer was: No .25mg at a time because if you're not stable to begin with it doesn't matter how you taper ! She's added large of gabapentin on top of this. I intend to milk titrate over the next 4 months. What do I do? Please advise. ## It is always best to follow your doctor's instructions. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause withdrawal effects that could include seizures, rebound depression, rebound anxiety, diarrhea, and nervousness. What dosage are you taking of the Gabapentin? ## Adamo, So that may be the best comment that a skilled prescriber has ever uttered...
I just received a pack of Alprazolam tablets from India. They are white (maybe a little yellowish) that have R, a line, then S on one side and on the other it looks like a J. It's packaged as ALDIX-1. Does this sound 'right'? Does anyone else have Alprazolam from India that can confirm these are indeed 1mg Alprazolam? Thanks. ## Anyone at all that can help with this? ## I just got the same thing as you, also from India. As a long time xanax user, I can reasonably confirm that after popping two of these it is more or less equivalent to an american Xanax Bar (2 mg). You should be good to go. ## Thanks for the reply...I've since been taking them and have been feeling 'ok'. I just couldnt find any pics or info on those via Internet search, so was a little hesitant......
Hi all, just a few days ago I got a refill for my Clonazepam. The manufacturer has been changed, the pills are produced by Northstar. For the life of me I can't remember what the previous manufacturer was, I will ask my pharmacy. Anyway, I feel like I'm having withdrawal symptoms ever since I take the new generic. Nothing serious, but irritating. I'm only taking 0.5 mg in the morning and 1 mg in the evening. After taking the one in the morning, for the rest of the day I feel like I've forgotten to take it (which happens sometimes). Irritable, dry mouth, jumpy. In the evening I notice a difference too, but not as much, because I take the 1 mg right before I go to bed and I am taking an OTC sleep pill (actually gummies, brand is Olly) as well. It's takes longer to fall...
Has anyone heard of the Ashton Method as a way to detox off of benzodiazepenes? I know it is more popular in the UK. I’m trying to find a USA psychiatrist who follows this method. A lot of people have had success coming off without losing their minds in withdrawal. ## My dr. Did a similar approach. Switching me to Valium instead of Xanax and then we got 1mg, .5mg and .25mg compounded so I could make very small tapers. It was the only thing that worked for me after trying to come off on my own unsuccessfully. Dr. Royble at True Life Center in San Diego. There are also some groups that help you to micro taper on your own diluting the pills with liquid. ## I'm looking for one also.
I'm going to the dentist to have lower dentures put in they gave me two 0.5 xanax do I have to take both of them or is one enough ## I had 8 teeth pulled at one time as a kid. I was put under General anesthesia for it. Because you are driving perhaps take 1 and when you get to the office take the other. 1 mg is not a lot but if you are not used to them it could be a little too much if you are driving or even if you aren't. Good luck! ## As Eddy has stated, it really depends on whether or not your body is used to taking them, and if you're driving, or etc. I understand the anxiety associated with dental work, after a lifetime of issues, I am so happy to have dentures, now, and be mostly done with it. The FDA warns that Xanax carries the risk of being habit forming, and may ca...
Light blue oval pill marked upjohn 55 ## This tablet contains 0.5mgs of Alprazolam, the active ingredient in Xanax. Alprazolam is a Benzodiazepine, commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and irritability. You can read more about it here: Do you have any questions? ## This pill is garbage and not as advertised. It is garbage - it cost more than 7 $$ and takes forever to be delivered irbid nothing like real alprzolam or Xanax
Does anyone recognize an oval-shaped lavender colored pill with "UpJohn 90" on one side? It's also chalky. Not sure if they're the real thing? ## Upjohn lists this tablet as containing 1mg of Alprazolam, which is a generic Xanax, it is most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. The NIH warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. Are you on any other medications? ## I do not think it’s real - it’s kinda chalky (good description) I think it’s garbage!!! I’ve had alprazolam before and those pills are oval lavender (1mg) - these do NOTHING!!!! I’m actually not sure what to do? Alprazolam is Xanax.
The g should b capitalized G3722. I've seen a few fake ones, made by those single pill presses that have all of the bars shaped xanax imprints and ive been screwed once or twice. Never seen colored green/yellow bars that weren't real tho or the football oval shaped ones. Hope i helped. ## Thanks for the heads up Head! No pun intended LOL. I just wanted to make a note to other readers about the idea of receiving fake xanax tablets in general - Patients who fill their prescription at a licensed pharmacy shouldn't ever have to worry about counterfeits such as the long white g3722 pill being described above. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the information presented here is primarily intended for those who go get their medication through other means... Having sa...
I just received some Xanax bars and I thought I made a mistake because on my bars it has G2722 on it. But when I looked them up I was referred to G3722. So what is the real deal with these bars, are they fake? I feel like I usually feel when I take xanax, so I am a little confused. Can someone clarify about the pills imprinted with G2722? Thanks for any response! ## Either the guy who made them was vision impaired or you took Sotalol Hydrochloride ## Thanks Eddy for your response, I am only out a couple bucks. I am cautious. They looked real, but you never know til you ask. It's a shame, but one less person I have to deal with anymore. Again, thanks for your help... ## I just got the same type of xanax, so I went to search it and apparently that’s ativan, which is basically th...
I'm looking for a pcp who will write me a prescription for xanax and pain meds when needed ## TN is one of the toughest states to obtain pills. Before you get pills "when needed" in any State you must meet the doctor and develop some sort of Doctor/Patient relationship ## I'm looking for a doctor in chattanooga to write xanax. I have horrible anxiety and I need help. Any suggestions?
It seems to me that the ez test kits are not very good for testing for diazepam. I tested 3 products with the ez kit and they all come back showing no results. (1) crescent 5mg --- no result ---clear (2) diazepam prodes 10 mg ---clear (spanish) (3) galenika bensedin 10 mg ---clear (serbia) I was thinking that the tablets did not have anything in them, but that would be strange that all 3 products should show no results. I then tested the same 3 products with a Zimmermann Reagent for benzodiazepine. The result of all 3 products showed results for benzodiazepine, all 3 turned the purple color I was looking for. Has anyone else had trouble with the ez test kits? I have spent a small fortune on them thinking that I was sold out of date test kits, but where every I got them from they were al...
So after literally years of having to go from pharmacy to pharmacy to find one that either would or could regularly stock my preferred manufacturers of my medications. I, like I'm sure many of you out there, are very sensitive to the inactive ingredients that some companies use in their patent to make their version of the product, but after a decade's worth longitudinal study, I can say UNEQUIVOCALLY, based on my own personal empirical data, that the Greenstone LLC, 2mg Authorized Generics are in fact THE BEST XANAX YOU CAN GET. IT IS LITERALLY MOLECULARLY IDENTICAL TO THE BRAND NAME, AND A FRACTION OF THE PRICE. The best way to obtain it **HASSLE FREE** from the pharmacy, again based on my own empirical data, is to have your physician write on your paper prescriptions something...
Is the Xanax XR 3 mg triangle shape green pill with a G on one side and a 3 on the other? ## Yes, generic Alprazolam 3mg extended release from Greenstone is a green triangle shaped pill with imprint G 3 (NDC 59762-0068). Inactive Ingredients: - Lactose - Magnesium Stearate - Silicon Dioxide - Hypromelloses - D&C Yellow No. 10 - FD&C Blue No. 2 Ref: DailyMed ## It looks to be an off white color with a light green/peach tint. I think that the resolution of many of these pill photos reflect different colors based on various computer display settings; therefore it would be more accurate to see it in person if at all possible.
Is this a legitimate form of Alprazolam? It's white and looks real but is hard. It has G3722 on the front and has the score line after G (which isn't a circle, it has the same straight lines that make it look right) top and bottom of 7 then another 2. It's flat. On the back it's got the curve around the edges... It looks like the standard domestic version from my last refill when I look it up. However, the 2 on the back is what is confusing me. Has anyone ever been dispensed this from a USA Pharmacy? ## I got some g3722 that are flat on the back no 2 on the back. They’re good ## Where did you get them Flaco? They don't sound real if the lines are missing in the back ## I get the Greenstone 2mg every month from my pharmacy. The real ones do not have a 2 on the b...
IS THERE A 2MG XANAX MADE THAT IS LIGHT GREEN, SCORED 3 TIMES AND HAS STAMPED ON IT S906 ## Is the marking possibly S903? If so, then use, it contains 2mgs of Alprazolam, the active ingredient in Xanax, which is most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. Learn more: ## Yes, but some more light green and some are dark green. Or they both real? ## I wonder the same thing cuz i get both lighter and darker green ones . ## NO, DONT TAKE IT LAD.
Just moved to middletown, NY, Orange County. I need to find a doctor who perscribes xanax for my panic attacks. Anyone know of any docs in this area?? ## If you suffer from anxiety and need a Benzodiazepine class medication (like Xanax), your best bet it usually to see a psychiatrist, rather than a regular medical doctor. They are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and many GPs are reluctant to prescribe controlled substances due to abuse and the heavy regulations that they have to abide by from the government. Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any certain medication when you see a new doctor. Make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you. Then, the best approach is to discuss what has and hasn't ...
These ZS157 pills were in my bottle of lorazepam. The size is nearly the same as the lorazepam, but not quite. That's how I noticed. I also discovered a lot of ZS157s. I have not yet identified these. I also take pindolol, which are also small round and white pills, confusion reigns. I finally dumped out the lorazepam bottle and looked at every pill under my sewing magnifying glass. Can you tell me what the ZS157s are? These pills were mixed in with lorazepam, and heaven only knows how many of them I've taken in good faith. What should I do about this? ## Is the marking SZ 197? If so, they are also Lorazepam, they are manufactured by Sandoz Inc., and they list them as being 0.5mg tablets. NDC: 00781-5371 Occasionally, if they run short of the product from one manufacturer, a pha...
