Small white round pill with the letter M or maybe W on one side and a groove down the middle on the other side. ## Hi Nadine, The closest match I've found based on your description is Clonazepam (2 mg); which is a benzodiazepine derivative with highly potent anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant, and anxiolytic properties. It is a small, round and white pill with an M on one side and the the imprint C 15 separated by a score on the other. Perhaps the C 15 got smudged off at some point? Over the counter substitute for Atarax ## Atarax contains the active ingredient Hydroxyzine, which is an antihistamine. Since I do not know your medical history, I cannot guess why your doctor may have prescribed it; but it is used to treat allergies, prevent nausea, to treat anxiety as well as some other conditions. In order to recommend a good substitute, one would essentially need to know "why" you're taking this medication in the first place. I got some small pink elyptical/oval shaped pills sold as Diazepam 5mg in a Thai-Pharmacy. One side just the notch on the other 0,5 imprint (no notch) Not sure about this --- can't find anything on the net about this. Does anybody have an idea what this might be? ## It's a generic xanax I just got prescribed some for anxiety and prefer them over valium due to the hang over I get from valium. Look at som pics of xanax on google it should be the same.

adivent ## My daughter's physician presecribed 4X the normal dose to my daughter for her anxiety disorder for 5 years in spite of her telling him that she is to have nothing addictive. She took herself off gradually when she learned of its addictive contraindications. Now she has become very ill and now has symptoms of ensephilitis. So, if anyone is questioning the identification of a tablet, along with the color and basic description, for an accurate identification, please also include any markings that may be on the tablet or capsule. i have recently been prescribed ativan which seems to help some,but i am wondering if xanax would work better ## they are roughly equivalent, but Xanax hits the nervous system faster, and gets out of you system faster. Both good for panic, crappy for sleep, wouldn't use either for persistant symptoms of anxiety. ## Just to add some further information.... A lot of it can also depend on the individual involved, one may not work for them, while another might, so sometimes it's really just a matter of trial and error to see which medication works for you.
