Is a purple football shaped tablet with IFA on one side and a thick score line on the other a 1 mg Xanax? Is that the drug manufacturer? Please help, I am only used to seeing alprazolam tablets come in blue or white. ## From what I have seen this pill is supposed to be a 1 mg Alprazolam (the purple/bluish sort of speckled oblong pill with IFA one one side and a score on the other). They are manufactured in Mexico by a company called INVESTIGACION FARMACEUTICA, S.A. DE C.V. and go under the brand name FARMAPRAM. This is a round white pill. On one side it says teva and on the other side it has a number that looks like 3027 but its kind of faded but it definitely starts with a 3 and ends with a 27 any idea what it is. i was told it is valium but i know it is not. maybe clonopin but not sure. ## If I remember correctly, the closest to this is TEVA 3927 on a pale blue pill, which contains 10mgs of Diazepam, the active ingredient in Valium. I got these tablets from a friend which are apparently from thailand, they are a round blue tablet with 10 on one side and blank on other with a line going down to snap them, any idea what these are. In simple terms they are are actavis 10mg tablets. Markings C DC with a split line through the middle. Light blue, blank on one side in sealed silver strips, with 14 to each. I got my alprazolam refill. One was a bar and the others are round white tablets with a score line on one side. Apparently these are 4 mg but I've never seen them round before. Could these be xanax and what could be in them? On the packaging it says "xanax with added sleep enhancers". ## What? This medication is bad compared to 1mg Alprazolam. I had to take a higher dose than normal to feel the same level of relief. ## Hi nuuke, how are you? Sorry to hear about your experience with Teva's diazepam. One thing to be aware of when you are taking generic meds, is that they are permitted by the FDA to contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredients. This means that if one generic has -20% of the active ingredient, another generic has +20%, that's a 40% difference in dosages, plus a different set of binders and fillers that effect the absorption rate/bio-availability! I just got my new clinic it's all inclusive and they dispense TEMPUS alprazolam 2.0mg tablets. Americans really showed their superiority inventing this medication but it really ticks me off how expensive they have become from bogus lawsuits and how hard it is to get. There's no addiction. Maybe if you're taking 20 a day but who would do that? DO NOT DO THAT! I was prescribed Prozac & Xanax 10 years ago by my psychiatrist for depression & severe panic attacks. He started me on 1mg 3 times a day. Around Dec 2005 he increased my daily dose to 1 mg - 4 times a day. I have been a patient of his now for 10 years where I see him every 3 months. I just moved to Houston and have suffered from severe anxiety for the past ten plus years and really need to find a psychiatrist or doctor that is willing to prescribe Xanax. Teva No Longer Manufacturers Clonazepam, and I personally feel it is a good thing. Teva, in my opinion, is a low-quality company who actually manufacturers 70% of their products overseas, in cities and communities I don't think you would want to live in. I find the change-over, in terms of most of my medications, including clonazapam 2mh hs to be more effective than before. There are, of course, individual differences, but this is how it is for me personally. My Dr said he prescribed me Vistaril for anxiety, but pharmacy filled with Atarax. The pharmacist told me Vistaril works better and faster for anxiety and the Dr wrote Hydroxyzine HCL. Should I ask for Vistaril next time or is there any difference I would even notice? Thank you very much.

I came across a scary situation the other day that i think most people on lorazepam might be interested in. I take 1.5 mg of lorazepam a day, have been so for 30 years. My doctor has never mentioned any problems with my medication. Then last week i got a call from her that was frantic and uncontrollable, she kept repeating i have to wean down my dosage and kept repeating if you take oxycodone i could die.
