How long does it take to clear your system for a urine drug test? ## Xanax contains the active ingredient Alprazolam, which is a Benzodiazepine and these are actually very problematic for urine testing, because they can be detectable for as long as 6 weeks, after taking them. There is no hard and fast rule on the time frame, however, because it can be affected by many other factors, such as your individual metabolism, overall health, fluid intake, activity levels and many other factors. IS there anything else I can help with? ## My name is Kevin,I took 1 adderall lastnight at around 1am.Will it be out of my system by Monday afternoon?I have a job offer and will be tested on Monday afternoon, will it be in my system still? ## Kevin, the app...
Klonopin, or clonazepam is one of the hardest drugs to get off of. I have seen this in hospital settings as a nurse myself and as a patient of this horrible drug. Benzodiazepines should never have been invented. I have been on this med for 3 years now, and cannot handle the withdrawal affects no longer than one month. I wish the doctor would have warned me of how dependent your brain and the central nervous system relies on this med only after even 2 months of taking this. I have been advised by doctors to slowly shave the pill down over a period of a year if needed, and then I have had some doctors tell me that may never be able to get off of this drug ever!! Withdrawal symptoms include for myself a feeling of anxiety and panic constantly, never-ending, shaking, hot and cold, no appeti...
I have been prescribed xanax for ten years and my recent doctor cut me off. Does anyone know of any doctors that will prescribe benzodiazepine in Cincinnati ohio or Harrison Ohio? Thank you ## {removed for policy reasons} ## So where is that at? U said you know where they can be " got" ..? Please explain ## Britt, Hey any luck finding a doc? I just moved to the area recently and I'm looking for one myself. I know is kind of an old post but maybe you can help. Thanks. Dustin ## I'm in cincinnati ohio and i need to find a dr to prescribe zannys or klonopins. I hate how drs now a days treat you like ur drug searching even tho you really need the s***. If anyone has info on a dr that will prescribe them plz let me know asap!!! ## I'm in need of a Dr who will prescribe xa...
I just moved to Colorado Springs a few months ago. I am trying to find a psychiatrist who will help with my bipolar,OCD, and anxiety. I have been to one already but they won't continue me on my xanax prescriptions. I've been on xanax for 6 years. I want to be helped with other medications but also keep my xanax. If there is a psychiatrist who could help me find solutions to all my problems that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. ## Hello, Anna! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Unfortunately, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. And when you see a new doctor, a lot of it depends on your attitude. Since this a controlled substance that can be habit forming and is freq...
I've been taking Watson Pharmaceuticals Lorazepam and it worked great. Apparently, Actavis just took over Watson, and Watson no longer exists. I'm looking for another bran of Lorazepam that has the same Active & Inactive ingredients as the Watson brand, however, I can't locate the info on line and my pharmacy won't help me. Does anyone know what other manufacturer carries Lorazepam that is exactly the same as the Watson brand. Actavis and Sandoz manufacturer's Lorazepam does not work. ## Well, you're pharmacy won't help, because if the active ingredient is the same, they are considered the same. The inactive ingredients are called such for a reason, they don't affect the drug. How long have you been taking your current dose? It is possible that you...
The two G's are different. 1 is more angular and 1 is rounded. just FYI ## The more rounded ones are real. ## @Casey, To confirm, the pill you have is in fact Xanax (Alprazolam) 2 mg. Xanax (Alprazolam) is primarily used to treat moderate to severe anxiety disorders (e.g., social anxiety disorder) and panic attacks, and is used as an adjunctive treatment for anxiety associated with moderate depression. Manufacturer: Greenstone Limited National Drug Code (NDC): 59762-3722 The difference in the look of the G's could just mean that they are from two different manufacturers. Learn More: Alprazolam Details If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## I have recently got some white Xanax 2 mg with G3722 on them. when I took one I fel...
I have extremely bad anxiety and panic disorders ## Hello, Jojo! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a specialist, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, having them refer you to someone would most likely be the easiest way to find the help you need. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area? This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. ## Sharon dejesus accepts medicaid -metroplus very personable and actually gives a crap. She gives you what you feel you need. Unfortunately, I can no longer see her as my insane x made a huge scene--She has great p...
Aside from the sedative effect of Xanax and alcohol, someone told me that some patients prescribed narcotics take Xanax to increase the narcotic effects? Is this true? ## Soma is a big favorite with narcotic patients but sure, it is accurate to say that Xanax does cause this effect to some degree. ## People abuse benzodiazepines. It’s a bad idea though. Take too many and you won’t even remember what you did. And it does intensify the effect of opiates and tends to increase one's risk of overdosing because of this. Please don’t do this if you wanna stay alive. Seen too many people OD or die. ## The effects are usually due to an increased severity of the side effects, when they are taken together, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsines...
I was originally taking .5 mg of lorazepam (manufactured by Mylan) sublingually twice a day with great results. My latest prescription is manufactured by Sandoz & comes in a smaller size pill. It seems to be less effective than the one made by Mylan. Where can I find a comparison of the actual amounts of lorazepam used by different manufacturers? I understand Activas/Watson also puts one out as well. I read that companies can stay within 20% + or - of the original & still be considered as an acceptable.generic. How is that possible since the amount of active ingredient would vary? ## What you're talking about is the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984. Ref: Hatch-Waxman Letters Basically, in an effort to bring generics to market faster to help underinsured, or non-insured consumers, so...
I'm going to get my script soon, ive been taking the Actavis brand (Walgreens) and I asked if my next refill it could be the Greenstone g3722. My dosage I'd 2mg. I has the Mylan xr but would say the ACTAVIS is better. Should I stick to Actavis or go for Greenstone? I haven't tried Sandoz nor Dava. ## Greenstone use to be best as they we're bought out by parent co.of Xanax but they dilluated the formula a few years ago. I've been using the 2mg XR Actavis and their not too bad...so yes Actavis works. ## No one "diluted" the formula when a new company bought them. @Benzolover, you seem like you need some further understanding of what Xanax is and does, just a tad too excited about the drug. ## I'm very informed on this drug. But I just wanted to ask what was...
Most pharmacies sell watson or actavis lorazepam in my area (LA), but I had serious side effects with no calming effect from watson so I returned to Rite Aid after taking one tablet. I heard that watson was taken over by actavis and they are manufactured at the same factory and same medicine. I used to take qualitest and that worked great but was discontinued. I also tried Mylan which was ok but they are discontinuing as they said they don't have inventory and don't know when the last batch is released. Leading pharma does not work for me, causing serious side effects. I visited or called about 30 pharmacies in my area but they only deal with leading pharma, watson and actavis. So I have no option but to try actavis, but if it's the same as watson, I think I can't take i...
I've had anxiety and bad panic disorder now for 15 yrs. I was taking 2mg 4 times daily Got new primary dr. He don't believe in xanax. He gave me a few to see how they work. Go back in first of aug. I need a Dr that understand my dilemma. Please refer me to someone that can help. Thank you ## Even the patent holder of Xanax do not suggest 8 mg a day. When you're cut off, (and you will be) you are a prime candidate for withdrawal including a stroke ## I am sorry, Jon! I do not have a list of doctors there to refer you to, I live on the west coast. 8mgs a day is not a commonly prescribed dosage, as Eddy has already stated, but doctors do have to adjust most dosages according to how the person responds to any given medication. The FDA warns that this one carries the risk of bein...
How many of the small round peach xanax = 2mg ## A Xanax can be any color. Does it have a number? ## @jamie, The previous poster is right. This drug can come in many different colors and dosage forms. However, if there happens to be an imprint on your pill, you can look it up yourself on google or post back here with more information (on the color, shape, imprint, etc) so I or someone else can provide you with an accurate answer. From what I've seen personally, peach/orange-colored Xanax comes in 0.5mg and 1mg dosages. Although there may be more that I'm unaware of. I hope this helps! ## "How many of the small round peach xanax = 2mg" FOUR ## 8 ## it would equal four of the peach xanax to equal 2 mg ## 4 peach equals 1 ladder which equals 2 blue footballs ## How many mil...
My wife and I moved from the state of Missouri where she received great care from a female Psychiatrist In Springfield Missouri that prescribed my wife 1Mg of Klonopin 3 times a day. We only had enough money to move to Miami Oklahoma when the problem started with another doctor (Dr. Sangal) who cut her dose in half and the doctor after Dr. Sangal (Dr. J. Mallgren) took her off of Klonopin day and prescribed her GABAPENTIN cap @ 300Mg. (VERY BAD IDEA!). We now live close to Oklahoma City since we moved here a week ago 8-4-15. Alexandria now staying awake for 3 or 4 days sleeps on the 4th or 5th day due to exhaustion. ## Who was the doc in Springfield? I'm here and needing to find a benzo friendy doc since it's worked for me for 35 years... ## I have taken klonopin for 13 years. A...
I got 2 mg Xanax bars with just a 2 on one side and four scores on the other and they do not taste bitter. Are they legitimate? ## If they don't have a sweet taste nor bitterness they're counterfeit...There so many counterfeit one's going around right now, it's hard to tell unless you taste em...they should almost all have a sweetness to them for at least a second before they turn bitter.... ## I have a white bar, with X|ANA|X on one side and a 2 on the other. The N has a line through it and so does the 2. It tastes kind of chalky and dissolves very quickly after putting it on my tongue. Is this a real Xanax? ## I had the same experience just this morning, it was very upsetting. Did it have a medicine-like taste at the very very end? Chalk-like no taste then barely medic...
I have been diagnosed as suffering from bi-polar depression. Everyday, all day the muscles in shoulders are so tight that I have continuous tension headaches that run up the back of my neck and behind my hears. I have tried deep tissue massages (last 2-3 days), ice/hot packs/pulse stimulators (don't work), acupuncture (4-6 hours), oral steroids (don't work cause weight gain), steroids shots in neck (4-7 days). All of the above is very costly and I have no relief. I have ringing in my ears, suffer from insomnia and can't sleep. I can be up for 48 hours without a nap unless I take medication. I live with high anxiety and have frequent panic attacks. I have Fibromyalgia and in addition to the above, I hurt all over. It feels as though I have been run over by a truck or beaten. ...
I just moved from Houston to lufkin. I have called 6 doctors and none are taking new patients. I have had anxiety disorder for 10 years. I have medical records. I need my medicine extremely bad. Please help. ## I just looked at Y P Yellow Pages for Lufkin TX and there were 276 Doctors. My town has one (1) Doctor ## Yes theres alot of doctors but I've called at least 10 and none are taking new patients or the first visit is anywhere from 100 to $180. Plus I don't know anyone here and need a good doctor I have other issues as well ## I have really good insurance and found many Doctors that wont take insurance, generally Psychiatrists and Pain places and I didn't even want pain stuff, the pain Doctor is a Neurologist. I drove by his office and saw countless shady drug users lin...
I have been taking lorazepam 2mg at night for sleep for 5 years. They recently gave me AZI pm - 2 mg lorazepam. It's a round pill in blister package sunny yellow color. Has anyone tried those before? I am use to the small round 1mg tablets. Please help!* ## According to the information you've provided the only difference is the dosage. Have you tried taking them? The FDA warns that Lorazepam carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and mood changes. Ref: Lorazepam Information

I've been taking Accord .05mg which I split in half every 2 to 3 hours, for about a month and a half after they stopped making my Sandoz Clonazepam brand. It's okay. It's starting to work somewhat, but I have a problem. Two weeks ago I am not told that Accord is getting harder to keep in stock by my Pharmacy and my insurance plan wanted to switch me to Actavis. YUCK, that stuff is garbage. I took 7 pills, couldn't stand it anymore how it made me feel. I got jumpy, my body itched, it took almost 2 hours to start working, and it never felt quite right. I said no I need to get the Accord again. My question is, is anyone else having this problem with Actavis, or is it just me? And did the Actavis taper down on the itchiness and start to work for those who are new to taking i...
