The story goes like this I had a family member on Hospice and they since have passed but the Hospice company said I need to destroy the medication my self so I have to ask are they able to be flushed or how can I destroy them ??? There are almost 25 bottles full of pain medication hundreds and hundreds of pills and anxiety medication !! I am thinking about taking them back to the doctors office and they could give them to someone that needs them that maybe can't afford them !!! Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to flush them and make animals suffer they are all controlled medications from pain pills there are like 9 different types and strengths to anxiety mess same different meds and strengths ??? What will happen if someone overdoses on Restyl? Will that person die or be in a coma? I was prescribed hydroxyzine for sleep but noticed that it killed my arthritis pain. Why does an antihistamine kill my pain? ## Hello, Rachel! How are you? It could be due to its sedative like effects, since a lot of pain is caused by an excitation of the nerves. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. If it works for your pain, that's awesome!!! Is there anything else I can help with?

I am prescribed 6 mg of Xanax daily for anxiety and panic attacks. I have in the last 6 months or possibly 9 months have been increasingly retaining water and am now taking fluxomine and potassium to try to rid the water retention in my legs although I have a large belly bulge hard as a rock which seems to be part of the whole disaster. now I am wearing 30 40 hg compression thigh high to help with moving the fluid build up out of my legs which works as long as I wear them every day until bedtime. it does nothing for the belly bulge and the water or whatever this fluid is in my complete torso . I took 1mg xanax, the white oval one last night. I took it about 12:30am. I had to do a urine lab test this morning. I ate canned ham mixed with Mayo with bread and cheese covered freedos with a mountain dew and salt water taffy prier. I am 123 pounds. The test was at 7:30am. What is the amount of time it takes to leave my system? Usually they breathalyzer test me. I wasn't expecting that and I also take imipermine for depression/anxiety and take a breast cancer pill also for five years. Can't remember the name. Oh and seroquel, but they make me too groggy. Will any of those come back for benzo and and how long will it take to leave my system? ## How did this turn out? I'm on .5mg Xanax once every few days and wonder if such a low amount will even show up on a screening test...

If they are prescribed from a Dr and it comes up in your urine or hair test whether it be for getting a job or dyfs it shouldn't matter period nor affect any decision with being hired or whatever call was placed on you to dyfs especially if you have anxiety. You are legally allowed to take them so you shouldn't even sweat it period, as long as you're not abusing them!!! If you're taking them with no prescription and are abusing them with no proof to show your work or dyfs case worker that you are prescribed them, then you may be screwed!!!! So be careful if you are illegally abusing it and taking them to feel high!!!

What did the doctor or coroner say was the cause of death? These pills are listed by Teva as containing 5mgs of Diazepam, which is a benzodiazepine, so it is possible for someone to overdose on them, but there's no way to say from just the limited information in your post. The U.S. FDA warns that they can be habit forming and an overdose may result in depression of the central nervous system, which could include heart and/or lung failure.

Is valuim used as a muscle relaxer? I have tryed many muscle relaxers I also have panic disorder but was taken off Klonopin abruptly could valium be used to relax muscles and relieve the anxiety as well? ## Valium is used as a muscle relaxer, to prevent seizures, the treatment of anxiety and other issues. Talk to your psychistrist about takiing the valium for anxiety and your regular dr about taking it for the muscle spasms. I seriously doubt that both drs will give you a prescription for valium. I have a round white pill that's not rounded but flattened and has only one imprint on one side that displays "1" and that's it.. Nothing else is on the pill except for the "1". Worked EXTREMELY well for me a few years ago on pain pills. Took it the morning of the test and peed twice and it ended up being a mouth swab test and I passed. A friend of mine, who does not lie, said that he smoked marijuana on the way to take the darn test and passes. I wouldn't recommend that. They say not to use anything for 72 hours. I think I had gone 24 hours without anything, took the stat flush , drank 32 ounces of water, peed twice, and took the test about 1 hour and a half after I took the stat. Now I'm trying to see if it will do the same for a few Xanax. I got off the pain pills using very very very small amounts of suboxone. In fact, a doctor gave me 90 to last a month?
