I take prescription Lorazepam for sleep. Will I fail a pre-employment drug test. I do have a prescription ## It depends on the dose and how much you take. If they use a cheap dip test you will probably be find, if it is a "good" lab it will may show but of all benzos Ativan throws the least number of positives.

I mistakenly took 1mg of ativan yesterday around 4:30 pm. I have a probation urine test today at 6 pm. I have never before taken a benzo. I've been drinking water and coffee and eating regularly. I weigh a muscular 185 pounds. I've heard that I'm either screwed or in the clear. Can anyone shed some light? ## I think your good even if it is sent to the lab. Ativan is in the Benzo family (Xanax, Ativan, Valuim, Klonopin...so on). Ativan is very fast acting and has a very short half life so it does not stay in your system that long and I think the lab is looking for higher concentrations to see if it is being abused and 1mg one time I doubt would throw a positive, and that's if they even check for Benzos. I have been on .5 mg of Xanax for 6 months to help with anxiety and panic attacks. I have four refills left. Recently, my family moved to Germany b/c my husband is in the Army. I was told that the clinic on base (the only place I can go) would refill my prescriptions if I just took them the bottles. My doctor refused to refill my medicine saying that it has a high street value and they don't dole out that many. She told me she'd give me 10 as apposed to 60 and said I should try depression medicine. I am in NO way depressed and the regement I am on now works just fine so I do not want to change it. I am taking Busprione Tab 15 MG and Hydroxyzine Caps 25 MG for depression and anxiety. What is the purpose of taking both of these medications? It seems like Hydroxyzine makes me tired. I use to take Xanax and I never felt tired as a matter of fact I had much more energy. Please let me know what these two perscriptions and suppose to help me do. Been trying to get into a suboxone program. Already in 1 but this 1 is thru the VA & I get my meds free there so I'm sooo happy 2 get out of this civilian clinic. I've had two drug screens & the following are the results: + sub, + thc, & + benzos. The THC, says my nurse, is OK as long as my levels continue to drop. Good regular patient needs loving home. Have been on 3mgs qhs of Alprazolam for nearly 20 years. Consistently stable with recent improvements (panic/anixety/depression). Clinic became anti-benzo and wouldn't help find another provider. In serious withdrawal for days now w/SI. No history of EoTH or anything else. Just need to get back to living. Why would xanax show up in a urine test if i haven't taken any? ## I don't know. I just had a test also that tested positive for Xanax. I've never even taken it my entire life! They stopped ALL my meds because of this, and sending me to an addiction specialist-I'm just lost and extremely depressed. I didn't take it and I don't know what to do!! ## I know I have not taken a Xanax. I've seen the local shop today and the new ones I received same green xanax bars except ones are thin almost half the width darker green and harder yet somewhat gummy when breaking and third the fat ones look just as scored and legit I've tried a third od them snap easier dissolves faster yet both half the bitter taste? My friend took half a Valium 16 days ago, and he has a drug test in 4 days. Will it be out of his system. ## Valium is actually the most problematic Benzodizepine, because it can be detectable for approximately 6 weeks after last taking it, in a urine test.
