Anxiety Neuropathy And Klonopin
UpdatedI have been on most benzos. I find that 2mg Klonopins help both my anxiety and neuropathy real well. I have been tagged with an addictive personality. Here's the problem. It's the only medicine that works. That being said "I get nothing for my relief. I have to obtain these meds through other means". I'm 64 and I'm tired of doing this. Any reasonable ideas out there?

I feel horrible for these people who can't seem to find help for their anxiety! Does anyone see a pshychiatrist? That is what I have been doing for the past 18 years. I take one Klonapin daily, occasionally two. It should not be so difficult for an individual to get mental health assistance and given a drug (yes, even if it is addicting) to get some relief! Most people do not understand that many mental health issues go hand in hand with drug and alcohol abuse. Medicine helps with those issues, to take the edge off so drug abuse is less or completely gone.
About the Klonapin...... If you can handle your anxiety any other way... Meditation for example, I would do so because as great as Klonapin is, it does have a pretty long half life and it is quite easy to become addicted.
Finally I am NOT suggesting this but just in case you are ever in Mexico and you should run out of Klonapin it is much easier to obtain than here in the US. Walk into any doctors office, pay a small fee they will write an Rx that you take to the pharmacy and have filled. I have lived in Mexico many times and needed my medicine and that is how I got it, from a regular M.D.
I hope this helps someone.
I have had anxiety disorder over 25 years and have been on a few meds for this. But for the last 5 years my doctor put me on pristiq and it works well for me. Makes me feel normal with no panic disorder and I can lead a normal life.
Hope this helps someone, we only have 1 life . Find a way
Don't trust Doctors or insurance they are incompetent and don't care what works but care enough to mess with you so you come back! Pull all your records from your insurance and doctor you will find that you are not the person they say you are! Try pot they can't govern it or take it away and it helps.
