How addictive is this medication? ## I know it is highky addictive, if you have any kind of chemically dependent issues..DO NOT USE this drug. I was told that by a very respected Recovery Center doc. just an opinion..DO NOT go off your meds. without first clearing it with your Doctor!! very important!! bye 4 now, Gwen ## all meds have a tendency of addiction either physically or mentally, but if you are on Seroquel i assume your are being closely monitored by your dr. disscuss it with him/her, but the simple fact that your worried about not becoming addicted is in your favor ## Whether it's addictive or not,when i stopped taking it for two days I felt like I was dying.I had very bad Sweating,chills,weakness,abdominal pain,muscle pain,nausea and vomiting.

WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF YOU THINK ALMOST EVERYONE IS BI-POLAR IN THE USE.. THOUGHTS ON THAT.... SOME MORE THAN OTHERS, OUR SON IS A CRACK ADDICT AND DOING REAL WELL ON THIS MED. TAKES ALOT OF IT MORNING AND NIGHT TOO.. TAKES A DIFFERENT ONE AT NIGHT.. HE IS DOING WELL... WITH IT.. ## I myself am a drug addict, but have managed to stay clean for 18 months. I to was diagnosed as bi-polar. the truth is you cannot really tell until you have ben off the drug's(crack,herion, whatever) for about 6 months. The drug cocain causes a rush of a nuerotransmitter in the brain called dopimine, that is way craving is so bad for it, and explaines the depppression that follows.
