I have a pill that I have no idea what it is. Fat oblong pill, white on one side/yellow on the other. Adams/600 is the inscruption on the pill. Psychitic ## Our 9 yr old daughter takes Risperdahl 4x a day for a total of 1.5 mgs. She is RAD and may also be schizophrenic or have Disassociative Identity Disorder. The medicene really helps with the 'vioces' and mood swings, and temper. However, she is hungrey all the time and has gained a lot of weight. ## Those are normal side effects for this type of medication, not much you can really do about it. ## Are you over weight?....Maybe it has something to do with you...also are you into the super natural?...again...you!....The humanistic approach...Look that up Psych 101...Also sociology 101 don't label or even embelish things because you can be making things worst....sorry about the way I've come off but...please educate yourself..

My son has been diagnosed with ADHD and OCD. He tried Zoloft and it was like someone shot him full of speed. My doctor and I discussed the possiblity he could be bipolar. He first tried him on Abilify. After two pills, he went into a manic episode so we took him off the meds. We then tried Seroquell. He took half of a 25 mg pill within two hours he was so drowsy he could not keep his head up. The next day, he was very tired and complained of headaches. He developed diarrhea. We went to the movie theater and go very upset. He was scared of the movie and wanted to leave. He sat by a big man and it made him very nervous. We had to get up and leave because he was so upset. I have taken Trilafon and Ativan for over a year. Without a doubt I need to take medicine. The long term side effects of Trilafon scare the hell out of me. I'd like to stop taking Trilafon but my wife and family worry that my paranoid and disturbing thoughts will get the best of me. My doctor tells me that the benefits outweigh the risks. Let's face it though I'm the one taking all the damn risks. Maybe someone has some insight?

How many mgs of Risperdal Consta are released daily from the 2 week shot of 12.5? Additionally my son had an awful reaction to Invega when it first came out. So far so good on the Risperdal Consta. I was just wondering if he transitions to the Invega Sustenna (4 week) dose would that be any different and why? ## There are 2 mgs released daily in the 12.5 two week shot. My son also had a miserable reaction to the Invega when it first came out although it's supposed to filter thru the kidneys and therefore be easier on the liver. After the 4th week he wants to take the Invega Sustenna too & I'm scared because when any medication is changed there are problems.
