how to get off Olanzapine drug. What other non addictive medication or nutrients can be taken to ameliorate the side effects of olanzapine withdrawal. ## Hi Elizabeth, Have you ever considered trying medical marijuana as a means of helping you get over much of those withdrawal symptoms? If anything, I think it could at least help you cope mentally and emotionally with it until the other symptoms begin to subside. That is just my theory based on personal experience. But I know everyone reacts and responds different to treatment, so perhaps it would be best to discuss this with your doctor if your state is one that allows the use of cannabis?

Has anyone on Risperdal safely took a hunger suppressant that worked without any side effect my Risperdal is causing me terrible binging and hunger and really ruining my regiment need help! what can I do ## Hi torre, In my opinion, if you want to lose weight and keep it off you should be making changes to your current lifestyle and your eating/exercising habits. It really depends on how strong your deep inner desire is to lose the weight. By taking medications/supplements that are marketed as fat burners/ appetite suppressants, or going on a special diet for a few months, you are essentially telling yourself that you can't lose weight on your own free will and determination. You have to literally have a burning desire to lose weight and take action each and everyday that supports yo...

i am currently taking serequel for at least 2 yrs now and can feel the difference when i do not have it, found out it isnt a controlled substance nor is it usually tested for and was wanting to know if they consider this a addictive drug or not ## Hi Christle, Based on my research, Seroquel "technically" doesn't have addictive properties but that really depends on who is taking it. Some people can become psychologically addicted to the benefits that it offers, for example: decreased anxiety, better sleeping, etc. Therefore, if you were to stop taking it, you may feel "withdrawal" ie: increased anxiety, etc... due to lack of the drug. Always taper off Seroquel when discontinuing to avoid these symptoms. I hope this helps!

In 2009, I went to have a "simple elective procedure." I ended up almost dying. I was diagnosed with Malignant Hyperthermia. Is it safe to take Seroquel? They wanted me to go to UCLA for further testing, I was told that it involved quite a bit of pain. I chose not to go through with it. Not sure what I should avoid. Any suggestions? ## Hi Stephanie, Based on my research, some people have actually reported that Seroquel may cause Malignant Hyperthermia. I did read about someone's son losing their life due to what I just mentioned. Apparently, Seroquel can effect the Hypothermus Gland, causing the body to reach core temps. of 110 degrees. I would definitely speak with your doctor before starting this medication. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Seroquel Deta...

SLEEP ## Could you be looking for the drug Seroquel ? ## That is also my best guess. There are many instances where the spelling or understanding of a drug name is based on what someone has heard and it can vary greatly depending on how it was pronounced by the person they heard it from. ….not to mention the inherent ability of pharmacologists to make many spellings and pronunciations as confusing and odd as possible. :-) You can learn more Seroquel details here. Seroquel is actually an atypical antipsychotic that's most commonly used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, but since it can cause drowsiness as a side effect, it can help with insomnia, especially in cases where other medications have been unsuccessful.
