Can Oxistat Cream 1% be used to treat hemorrhoids? ## Hello, Jae! How are you? No, this is an antifungal medication that's used to treat conditions such as athletes foot and toenail fungus. I am suffering from fungal infection I guess... Because after my periods immediately I started getting rashes, itching, redness and burning sensation in my vulva. I was suggested to use v wash for cleaning which will decrease the pain, then I was suggested to use candidate b cream but as per my information it has to be applied externally.. But I tried using it..it didn't completely work but the pain is decreased to some extent.. So I would like to know that if I am applying this cream internally will it work to decrease my pain.. Or can it cause some injury to my vaginal tissue..??

Yesterday I discovered that I'm suffering from yeast virginal infection, can I drink Betamox 500g?If yes how many times a day? ## Hello, Sinah! How are you? No, Betamox is an antibiotic and they do not help with yeast infections, as a matter of fact, they can actually cause yeast infections as a side effect, or make an existing one worse. You'll need to see your doctor and get a proper antifungal medication to treat it. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi.A pharmacist gave me Canex V & Metazol 400g for yeast virginal infection . Are they correct for this type of infection? ## I thought Betamox Capsule is used for people who has trouble swallowing drinks or food for example like tonsils..

Did your doctor tell you to use it for the rash? As listed by the FDA, skin irritation, redness and dryness can be side effects.

Could the oral liquid be used to treat yeast on the outer part of the labia? Monistat seems to be clearing the inside but the outside has yeast as well (from antibiotics for pneumonia) i have nystatin liquid left from a previous time i had oral thrush from an antibiotic. Was curious if it could be applied to that external area? ## Hello, Jm! How are you? No, you shouldn't use it like that, it may contain ingredients that are irritating to the labia and may create more problems. There are many products available over the counter to treat the outer yeast infection, they are usually a cream that you rub on several times a day, so you can pick up one of those, if your doctor approves. After 10 months and 10 expensive bottles I still see no change in the 3 toes on each foot affected. Not at all pleased with the results so far and feel as if i have been ripped off by the drug manufacturer. At this point I wish I had spent the money on a cruise, but on second thought I would probably run into all the top brass of Valeant Pharmaceutical Co. taking expensive vacations also!

I start by describing the whole condition. Actually I had cradle cap on my scalp when I was an infant.Doctor prescribed some cream. I dont remember the name but it worked well and the cradle cap was gone. Now two years back I felt some dandruff for the first time in my life. after that happened my scalp was not healthy anymore. There was scaly patches of dandruff, itching , redness and hairfall. I was totally broken . I tried many shampoos to clear off that dandruff but It worked a little bit but there was no parmanent relief. After suffering from it for 1 and a half year I went to see a dermetologist he didn't say anything but prescibed some antifungal medicines , shampoo and lotion. After using that for about 4 months it was diagnosed completely but the hairfall was not gone .So I st

I have been taking Oral Nystatin Tablets for a few weeks for high levels of Candida found in an Organization. Acids Test. I noticed that about an hour after taking the medicine I start itching everywhere for abut an hour, maybe less then I am fine. Is this a possible allergic reaction or could it be the "yeasties" in my body reacting to the medicine? Thanks for any perspective on the situation. ## Hello, Jana! How are you doing? Are you still experiencing the itching? It would be best to consult your doctor, that could be the sign of an allergic reaction and such a reaction may continue to get worse, with repeated exposure to the allergen. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.

I suffered with severe anal itching and chronic pruritus ani for over 5 years. The itching woke me up every night and consumed my life. I found a product called Pranicure and it was nothing short of a miracle. It gave me my life back, but I still have to apply it once every few days and I'm looking for the cure. Does anyone out there know of a supplement or some pill I can take that is an absolute cure for pruritus ani? ## If there was a supplement or pill to cure Pruritus Ani, I would be surprised if I didn't know about it! I had been researching how to treat/cure anal itching for over 8 years because nothing my doctors gave me worked. Be glad that you found Pranicure…it's truly the only thing I've found to be effective. ## From what I understand, there are quite ...

I have been having a rash on the side of my neck for months. It looks like a sunburn with dry skin. I have tried all the anti-fungal type meds with no luck. It does not itch very much and there has been no changes in my diet, meds, laundry soap and so forth. Does anyone have any ideas that might clear this up other then say go to you doctor. ## Hello, Jenifer! How are you? Have you tried a topical allergy ointment? Some allergic outbreaks can look like that, they can also hit certain specific areas, if that spot becomes very sensitive to the allergen, as listed by the NIH. I doubt it's due to an infection, because that would continue to get worse. However, the only way to really get a definitive answer is by seeing your doctor, which I know you don't want to hear. Can I use betametasona clotrimazol gentamicina for underarm fungus/darkening? It itches from time to time, but my biggest problem is my skin is dark/black. Will this cream help? ## Hello, Johnny! How are you? Have you consulted your doctor? Before trying to treat it with anything, you need to see if there's a problem, such as a fungus, that's caused it, and if so it can be treated properly. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this ointment as including skin rash, redness, dryness and acne. The steroids in this may actually worsen some conditions, if used improperly.

de leche cada pastilla cuaja ## Does anyone know what the drug Marschall is for? The back of the package has Marschall m-50 Cuaja 50 litros. It is a round white pill a little bit smaller than a dime. ## It is not a drug. It is some sort of tablet used in cheese making; possibly it's rennet. ## it is vegetable rennet, proteases extracted from a Mucor fungus for coagulating milk ## I was in several very remote and primitive regions of Nicaragua for two weeks and they have a white, non-refrigerated cheese taht the eat all over the place, with pretty much everything. Does it help with the itching of a fungal infection? Also does it work while you are taking an antibiotic? ## Hello, PeeWee! How are you? Yes and yes! Is there an overthe counter substitute for this cream. I have a groin rash and inch ## If you're looking for an OTC alternative, it most likely wont be quite as strong or effective as this prescription cream. I know over-the-counter Clotrimazole is 1%, but prescription Lotrisone (Clotrimazole + Betamethasone) cream also contains 1% of Clotrimazole + 0.05% Betamethasone. Maybe you could ask your pharmacist if they carry an OTC version of Betamethasone at a lesser percentage, and just combine the two? ## Can you use Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropiomate on areas that you have been bitten by Yellow Jackets that come up out of the ground, I am a Diabetic

I am on the 7th bottle. The last few weeks my toes have become quite red. The doctor said to expect this. However, my toes are getting quite irritated from rubbing on my shoes. They actually start bleeding when I walk any distance. If I cover the ends of my toes with a Band-Aid that protects them and they do not bleed. I have not read that this is a side effect. Have others experienced this? ## Hello, DiDi! How are you? No, I didn't see this listed among the side effects, but if the skin is getting irritated, then it does make sense that it could happen. The FDA lists the redness and irritation as being the typical side effects. However, I'd suggest having it checked out by your doctor, just in case. Do they even bleed, when you wear socks?

Is hemroid cream safe to use on ring worms? I am not sure if I have hemroid or ring worms all i know is its very painful. It's a firm lump, it's not bleeding and it's not itchy just very painful. I am going into the doctors tomorrow but I was just curious. I know it won't cure ring worms. ## How do u know its ring worm... and if it is ringworm a doc will prescribe u a different cream a antifungal probably. ... ## Ringworm is, generally, not painful like that. It tends to be more itchy, than anything, though it can sometimes cause small blisters on the skin that may be slightly sore, or irritated, as listed by the NIH. If it is just a lump on the outer area, then it is most likely a hemorrhoid. Is it the only lump that you have? Have you seen your doctor, yet?
