I have been taking terbinafine for about 37 days now. I also had my gallbladder removed on April 8th of this year. My eating habits are relatively the same, yet I have gained 13 pounds in a month. I guess my question is did the medication make me gain weight or is it because I have no gall bladder? I also have extreme belly bloating now that I'm very unhappy about. ## Hello, Christine! I used 3 tablets one per day and I feel great but I think the tablets might be causing vaginal dryness? My symptoms were really light, some white curd like discharge, nothing more. It showed in the morning and in the evening used the first tablet. But now it kind of aches and feels dry and it is really difficult to put the tablets in. Tonight I tried using a little water but it just started burning and wouldn't go in. Would it be enough using it for three days 100 mg, or do I just skip a day and try tomorrow? ## Has your doctor told you to use these? Hi. I was prescribed terbinafine for 14 days and I am currently breastfeeding my 5-month-old. I just want to know if it is safe to take this medication while breastfeeding? ## According to the FDA, Terbinafine passes into your breast milk and may harm your baby. They go on to state that you should not breastfeed while taking Terbinafine tablets. Source: fda.gov/downloads/Drugs/DrugSafety/UCM524717.pdf I would encourage you to talk with your doctor about other alternatives to Terbinafine that are safe to take while breastfeeding or discuss the best way to feed your baby while taking these tablets - if it can be done in a safe manner by altering the dosage, timing and/or frequency of administration to lessen these risk factors. I have been having these lumps on my tongue for quite some time now. I really don't know what they are but they are lumps and whitish on the upper part of my tongue towards the throat. I haven't seen a doctor yet but used nystatin for some days and the solution was over yet the stuff on my tongue haven't gotten away. I resolved to salt and there was a slight improved. I visited the nearest chemist and showed the nurse the lumps on my tongue and she gave me azythromycin and secnidazole. what could be the cause of these lumps and the white patches on my tongue. I've been experiencing an itching problem near my genital area for the past 35-40 days. My doctor prescribed me luliconazole cream earlier and when that didn't help me he gave me itraconazole cream. I used the cream for 4-5 days and there was no relief in my itching problem. I am on my third week with Jublia and my first bottle is almost gone. When I turned the bottle over, 1 drop does not come out. So, I proceeded to squeeze each time. The company badly needs to revise their dosing instructions. I found this video in the physicians information. The expiration date shown on my Clotrimazole vaginal gel is July 2017. So, is it possible to use it in July or should it be used before July? ## It does not become dangerous, once expired, but it may start to lose efficacy, and in most cases, the FDA means it should be used by the end of the month, though checking with your pharmacist may be a good idea to be certain. After the first 3 months it seemed to be starting to help clear the nail at the base. I was happy because this treatment was not causing me painful ingrown toenails like the Keridyn did. Unfortunately, 6 months into this treatment, the skin around my nails are now having massive irritation, redness, drying, cracking, peeling and bleeding. This happened to me when I used Keridyn after 8 months and I had to stop using it. I am so dissappointed, I'll probably have to stop this too, it's getting too painful. Some other site I just read said a girl used neem oil and it worked for her. Guess I'll have to try that next. I've tried everything over the counter with no luck. I have been using Clotrimazole betamethazone for 2 weeks for vaginal topical yeast infection. I now have small white pimple bumps and it doesn't seem that the cream has helped at all. Called my Dr., he said it sounds like it's healing up.
