I was on venlafaxine 37mg and it made me more worse. I was on cymbalta and that worked great but it stopped working and now i am on zoloft but it's not working. I am thinking about pristiq but is it worth it over venlafaxine? ## It is a similar medication in the same class, but it is not exactly the same, so it may work better for you. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings, and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

Could this medicine help with my TMJ symptoms include buzzing noise in ears. When tried I seem to notice noise more & become anxious. ## It can help with some types of nerve pain, I'm not sure how much it will help with TMJ, but it is worth trying, if your doctor approves. And most antidepressants can cause such side effects for the first few weeks, while your body is getting used to them, according to the NIH. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Has there been any change? ## I am going to start doxepin 10 mg tonight. It is worth a try. Hopefully it will make me deal with the buzzing in my ears, and TMJ symptoms a little bit better..and maybe be able to get some sleep

I've been on 20 mg for 7 months, working awesome but now I feel it's time to get off it. My choice would be to stop it cold turkey. Had anyone else done this yet, and how hard/easy was it? ## That's usually not a good idea after taking it for months, because according to the U.S. FDA, it could cause you to experience withdrawal effects, which may include nausea, diarrhea, headache, rebound depression, pain, and anxiety. I have been taking cymbalta now for 6 weeks my dr upped me from 30mg to 4g 3 weeks ago. I feel very down in the morning still & jittery symptoms seem to get better as the day goes on, however I do take .125mg oh klonapin if needed for anxiety. I have been using Cilift 20mg as well as Alzam for just over 2 years. I have Rheumatoid arthritis. Started taking anti depressants after my husband committed suicide over 2 years ago. I do not sleep well. I still feel down at times, I have terrible pain in my hips, knees and elbows. Seems both tablets do not work for me anymore. Hi there I have been on citalopram for 6 years. I recently withdrew from that and started taking 75mg with 10mg of citalopram last week and was feeling ok. Now i have stopped the citalopram and am on 150g of effexor. For the last few days I have been feeling a lot worse than i originally was I am not motivated and feeling very depressed. Is this normal? will it start workinng. I really don't want to try another one I have already tried 4 different ssris. If you thought you did get a false positive you should ask for a re-test (confirmation test) using GC/MS testing. GC/MS is the gold standard for any drug testing whether it's a hair drug test or urine drug test. If it was a urine screen also known as a dip test or home test then you need to insist on GC/MS confirmation test. Usually a dip test is reliable but a lot can go on in the human body so it might be possible.

I have taken wellbutrin xl 300 mg for 3 yrs and have experienced very different effects of the drug from different manufacturers, to the point my family has asked if I have been taking my meds. They have been known to make me more severely depressed with the aches and pains, low self esteem, zero libido and severe confusion. Now mind you this happens without skipping, missing or running out of meds. Hello, i have just started Effexor XR 75 mg this morning for anxiety and panic attacks. Took it 7 hrs ago. So far i feel ok, maybe slight nausea, a bit tired and dizzy. Could also be imagining these side effects as i am feeling very anxious about starting this med, but i have no choice in taking this treatment as i want to get my life back on track and feel normal and happy again. A while a ago my daughter was being bullied at school, which drove her to take an overdose, thank fully she was ok and is doing fine now But my wife took it really hard and started to suffer with anxiety so the doctor gave her citalopram. I know someone who started on Effexor Er 75mg a few months ago. My girl got overly depressed and took 500 mg of trazodone at once. Can this be fatal? It's been a few hours and she is tired. I've been watching over her but I'm worried. ## How is she doing?
