Venlafaxine False Drug Test

Can venlafaxine xr cause false positive results for methadone in urine screens? Please give me details.

That question might be hard to find an answer for. If you thought you did get a false positive you should ask for a re-test (confirmation test) using GC/MS testing. GC/MS is the gold standard for any drug testing whether it's a hair drug test or urine drug test. If it was a urine screen also known as a dip test or home test then you need to insist on GC/MS confirmation test. Usually a dip test is reliable but a lot can go on in the human body so it might be possible.
