My Dr prescribed this TEVA 7543 for my chronic lower back pain. How does it work? This is NOT a good medicine. I felt more depressed on it and had several side effects, nausea, lack of appetite, dizziness, etc. Then, after being on it for 2 weeks, I had a severe allergic reaction to it. So not fun! No more Pristiq for me. Throw the stuff away! ## I went on Pristiq for 10 days - had shortness of breath, and all the other side side effects. Dr. office told me to stop 'cold turkey' - It's been 7 daysoff and I am still not feeling normal! What's up with that?? They told me it would only be a couple of days. So I call them and tell them I am still having withdrawal symptoms - they act like I am crazy! And it must be something else wrong with me! I have NEVER felt like this - until taking pristiq! My husband tested positive for opiates.. His medications are aleve (every day) and setraline 100 mg everyday. He swears he hasn't been taking any kind of pain medication. Started with 10, my depression continued to week 3 was, I felt it wasn't going to work, on the last 2 20mg pills i felt very depressed for a day, and woke next day with deep depression but as day progresses came through it like a break through. Dr give me Venlafaxine ER 37.5 I took 1 pill a day after a week increase to 2 pills a day.. well I finish the medication and my Dr didnt give me refills so for 5 days I had the most horrible withdrawals so I started to take Bupropion hcl xl 300mg twice a day and by the second day I fealt great.Now my question is this. Did I made a mistake by taking the Bupropion twice a day to stop the withdrawals and Now that I have the Venlafaxine should I started to take it again or should I keep taking the Bupropion xl 300mg twice a day. Recently I started taking Wellbutrin SR (generic). I'm prescribed 100 mg twice daily. However, I've been taking been taking all 200 mg once a day in the morning. Ultimately, is the SR version still effective if only taken once a day? Why do people usually take it twice a day? Will I experience any disadvantages by taking it all at once? Today is my 8th day on Wellbutrin. I definitely feel SOME improvement. ## It is usually best to take it twice daily, as directed, due to the fact that its efficacy depends on it being maintained at a certain level in your body. I'm suffering from depression/anxiety/bipolar disorders. Today, as of 6th of October, I have taken my 6th pill of 10mg of Viibryd. Just after my second pill I started experimenting dizziness and nausea. I've been having troubled sleeping, and as soon as I wake up everything seems to be spinning around me. The first thing I do in the morning is running to the fridge just to grab something to eat, otherwise I'm extremely nauseous and have an upset stomach. This is the first drug of this type that I have ever taken. I took the 5 MG dose for 6 weeks then I was bumped up to 10 MG's once per day. Okay, I am hoping to get some help. I was on Pristiq 100 mg for the last three years. My insurance now is having a higher co-pay plus I have gained 25 lbs. So the PA switched my to Wellbutrin SR 150mg. It is day three and I feel awful. Very foggy and light headed. Well I found out from her nurse today, that I should not be having any caffeine when I take it. How long will this feeling last?? Anyone have words of wisdom. I was just switched from taking 2 150 mg to 1 300mg (pill 142 ) I know lots of complaints about generics - anyone take the 142 300mg pill ? How did you feel ?? I have been getting false positives for benzodiazipines on drug tests. The only thing I take is mirtazapine. Anybody else experience this or have any help/replies would be much greatly appreciated. ## If you're looking for experiences with false positives, we have many posts about that on our site. Mirtazapine isn't known to cause false positives for anything, however, if the tests being used a cheaper, non-certified ones, then they are known to give false positives anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. hello this morning i woke up and took my medication of urbanol 10mg atleast thats what i think. i have been suffering from memory loss since young and so forgot if i took it so 3 hours later i took another one just incase i didn't i suffer from a lot of mood swings depression and many other things so if i skip on dose it can mess my whole day up but now i am currently feeling very weird cannot explain it so now if i did take this med twice even if not remembering what am i supposed to do and what side effects am i going to get

Will wellbutrin show up positive for methadone? ## I tested positive while in the hospital for Methadone. I didn't know what the drug was let alone never taking it. I have done my research and I was taking Wellbutrin at the time. They labeled me as an addict. ## Will wellbutrin cause a false positive in a hair follicle test? I've been taking wellbutrin for 5 months and did a hair test that goes back 90 days. Will it show up as methadone?

Following an ECG, my psychiatrist has reduced my trazodone ( which I have been taking for many years for depression and anxiety ) I have gone from 300mg/day to 250mg/day, then after a week from 250mg/day to 200mg/day. That is as much as I have to reduce it. I am one week in and my mood has dropped low and my anxiety and binge eating is worse. Is this possible? ## Yes, according to NIH reports, it is normal to experience some withdrawal effects, they could also include nausea, fever, chills, and rebound depression. However, things should improve, after a week, or so, once your body adjusts to the new dosage. How are you doing now? I had been taking 90mg of cymbalta for about a month or so, and I ended up with a manic episode. My doctor told me to immediately stop taking the cymbalta and put me on 5mg of abilify. I believe I am now experiencing cymbalta withdrawal (so far, severe dizziness and body aches) and I'm just confused as to why my doctor would have me completely stop 90mg of cymbalta if withdrawal was a risk. Also, I'm wondering if anyone has any tips to lessen the withdrawal symptoms. ## Only the doctor can give you a definitive answer, but the best guess would most likely be that they were concerned about the medication possibly inducing more manic episodes, which it can sometimes do, according to FDA reports.
