I’ve been taking bupropion xl 150mg for a couple months now and recently switching to taking 300mg. I had some left of the 150mg so my doctor told me to just take 2 til they run out if I want. Anyhow the manufacturer I’ve been taking is Lupin... my depression is under control for the most part, but the energy didn’t last longer than a week or 2. Also this brand has given me serious constipation and food cravings!!! Picked up my new prescription for 300mg by Mylan today. Will be starting that tomorrow... hopefully it works better than Lupin. Does anyone have any experience about Mylan? ## Those can be typical side effects, especially when your dosage is increased, according to FDA reports. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and nervousness. How are you...

My doctor (who I don't have much confidence in) prescribed a combination of 40mg Escitalopram (Lexapro), 200mg Clomipramine (Anafranil) and 60mg Mirtazapine (Remaron). The maximum dose of Escitalopram and Mirtazapine is 20mg and 45mg respectively. This combination seems insane and I've not found anything on the internet to indicate that this combination has ever been used. Has anyone here used this combination of meds at such doses? Is this a safe combination? ## Various combinations and dosages are often used in the U.S., if someone isn't responding to other medications and dosage combinations. Sometimes, they have to be tailored to the individual being treated. The NIH warns that you may experience more side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and sedation. Hav...

A few days ago my doctor started me on Lexapro once a day. I am currently trying to wean off of effexor. I had been taking 50mg quick release twice a day, and now I only take that once a day. I also take Xanax as needed. I have never had a problem drinking on effexor, or any other antidepressant I've been on (Zoloft & Wellbutrin). I am leaving for an open bar cruise in a day and want to be able to have some drinks while on my vacation. I plan on refraining from Xanax on the days I choose to drink. But will the Lexapro be ok to drink with? Especially as I wean off of xanax? I am a 5'2, 110 lb 23 year old female who has been on SSRI's since I was 16 ## It could cause you to experience more side effects than usual, such as nausea, dizziness, and drowsiness, according to FDA...

White oblong pill 5/8 of inch long. 142 imprinted on one side only ## I went to 2 pharmacies and the first had no Idea either. My pharmacy says it is Buprpion XL 300 mg, a generic for Wellbutrin XL 300 mg. The reason I started this witch hunt was , the generic doesn't work nearly as well as the Welbutrin I would still like to have a verification if possible. ## I went to 2 pharmacies and the first had no Idea either. I have been on percocet and percocet er. My doctor put me on wellbutrin for depression. Do these mix well together? Could some of the depression come from being on opiates for so long? ## Yes, opiates actually work as a depressant, according to NIH reports. Other side effects may including dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. However, there is no Percocet ER. What exactly where you taking? Was it Oxycontin? Can you please post back and clarify?

I'm a 26 year old women and went to my dr about megrains and constant headaches. He prescribed me with Trepiline 10mg tabs to be taken every night at 21:00. Can someone tell me what kind of drug/medication this is? What is the side effects of useing this drug/medication? ## You might want to look into the work of Dr Shevel (headacheclinic.co.za/pages/41). He is from South Africa. Even though he was not able to completely cure my girlfriends chronic migraines, there has been a major improvement. ## Hi. Was the clinic expensive? I'm considering making an appointment, but they dont indicate the cost. ## Google them. Feedback i got was about R4000.00 and varied results ## This medication is an antidepressant that can also help with migraines, and certain types of nerve pain. The NIH...

I am suppose to take 150 mg of Wellbutrin twice a day. I was also prescribed OxyContin 10 mg every 4-6 hours, along with OxyCodone 10mg every 4-6 hours (as needed). So, here is my problem. (Y, the Doctors do know that I am on all 3 of these meds together). I don't know how long I need to wait after taking a Wellbutrin before I can take an Oxy w/o running the risk of Seratonin Syndrome(?). Oxy doesn't make me loopy at all. It hypes me up like Adderall, and that's before I add a Wellbutrin. Can anyone help or advise. My Doctors just say a couple of hours. But, so far, 2 hours isn't working. I need something more precise. How soon can you take an OxyContin after taking an Anti-Depressant??? ## Hello, Alex! How are you? I'm not finding anything about a risk of serotonin ...

I'm trying to identify an oval pink pill with a slit down the middle. It has a capital A on one side and 90 on the other side. ## Is it possible that the imprint you are looking at is actually A 06? If so, this tablet is manufactured by Aurobindo Pharma and they list it as containing 20mgs of Citalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant that is also used to treat anxiety. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes, dry mouth, and mood swings.

I just mistakenly took a second daily dose of Lexapro, three hours after taking the first. Do I need to be concerned? ## What dosage do you usually take? Typically, doubling up just once with this class of medications doesn't cause any severe issues, but it really depends on the dosage and the person. The FDA warns that you may experience more nausea, dizziness, and drowsiness than usual. Did you experience any adverse effects?

Hi, I have been on Nortriptyline for a just over a year at 25 mg in the morning and 25 mg at night to help with my fibromyalgia/chronic pain condition, as some of the symptoms of my fibro were starting to return, e.g. extreme light sensitivity rendering me unable to open my eyes. The doctor has increased my dose to 25 mg in the morning and 50 mg at night, that was three days ago. Since then I have started itching all over. The itching moves around my body and is intense. All i am doing is scratching, I am also quite irritable. Plus i've had quite bad head pain on the left side and it feels like it's inside the center of my head rather than on the surface; it gets worse with straining of any kind or bending over. I can feel the pain throbbing with my pulse. This is starting to se...

100 mg pill markings of Trazadone, please show image. ## Since Trazodone is a generic for the antidepressant Desyrel, there are many on the market and each tablet made by a different company will have different markings. Some imprints include: SL 434 Barr 555 490 93 638 5599 DAN DAN APO T100 441 R MP 114 MX 72 And this is by no means a comprehensive list of all of them. If the pill you have is not on this list, please post back with the imprint and I can look it up for you! Do any of these match yours? ## I received a new Rx of Trazodone from a 'by mail' pharmacy that looks like this: white, round, 100mg tablet with a stylized V and the number 19 on each half of the scored tablet. if tablet turned upside down, the numbers are 61 rather than 19. Please let me know what a 50 mg pill of Trazodone looks like. I just picked up a refill and the pills are different than before. I can't sleep and I'm wondering if it's the wrong pill. ## I'm having the same problem with 150mg ## I'm not sure what mg pill I had but they were white with a line down the middle and they were circular. ## Sorry, you have not provided enough information. This drug is available in both name brand and generic versions. There are many generic manufacturers and each one of them will make a pill that looks different. There are no rules saying that pills with the same ingredient have to look the same! The size, color, shape and imprint will all vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. I have been on pristine for many years! My doc had said to go down to 50 mg for 3 weeks then none. I go in to see him in 3 more weeks- I am a mess!! Crying a lot and brain zaps (good term) from other messages. I hope to God this gets better soon. ## Hello, Sue! How are you doing? Yes, if you were on it for such a long time and abruptly stop taking it, then such rebound and withdrawals effects will usually occur. That was still a relatively high amount to have you stop on. Learn more Pristiq details here. The preferred method now is usually to do a very gradual taper, by slowly lowering the medication and starting to skip doses. Did he give a reason he was having you stop at 50mgs? He could have had you use the regular release formulation and just cut them to lower it further for awhile....

I have been on Trintellix 20 mg for quite some time, my pshychiatrist started tapering me off gradually ,during this process i experience several symptoms that were listed but also noticed problems of paronoia and now that i have stopped taking trintellix the paronoia has sky rocketed as well as the anxiety and vomiting has anyone experienced a problem with paronoia while being TAPERED OFF of trintellix or once they completely STOPPED taking trintellix? ## That is possible, depending on how long you were taking it and how rapid the taper was, it might have been too fast for you. In many cases, stopping such a medication needs to be tapered very slowly, and occasionally, it must be adjusted according to how each individual reacts to the taper. The NIH also warns that stopping the medicat...

I had a gastric bypass in 2001. I am on a higher dose of Cymbalta. Does anyone know if the absorption of this medication altered by gastric bypass? ## Most medications are, but to be certain, I would recommend checking with your doctor or pharmacist, they will be the only ones who can give you a definite answer on that in relation to the dosage you are on. ## I had Gastric bypass some years ago. There doesn't seem to be any difference. ## I had RNY surgery in 2003. It seems I take higher dosages of ANYTHING, due to the surgery. When (blood) lithium levels were tested, and medication was supposedly a theraputic dosage, I had much lower levels than the norm. I use a pill sorter and NEVER miss doses, so go figure. ## I had RNY in 2006. I don't know about Cymbalta, but my surgeon sa...

My regular doctor has taken sick and is very rarely in her office. Need to find a physician who will treat me for chronic pain and bipolar disorder in Winsboro or Quit man Texas. Needed ASAP. Thank you. ## Hello, Yvonne! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. However, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll not likely find one doctor that will treat both. Anyone that requires controlled substances, such as narcotic pain medications, must see a specialist now to have them prescribed. A regular GP cannot prescribe them, neither can a psychiatrist. A general practitioner can no longer prescribe for and treat chronic pain. It might be easiest to call your doctor's office and ask them for a referral to someone. Can anyone sugg...
