I have started taking Citalopram to treat my depression. I am on 10 mg tablets and I can't sleep at night, is this normal? I am going on holiday soon and want to know if I can drink? I also worry about my weight, will it go up whilst taking these tablets? ## I have been on 20mg per day for just over a year now, i have not put weight on but aint lost any either, i got really tired when i first started taking it but are fine now, also i have a drink on a weekend, i was advised not to drink while taking them but i have been fine. These tablets have been a life saver to me and my family ## I can't sleep on citalopram so have to take melatonin to sleep, they have not done anything to my weight and only affected me whilst drinking in my first month on them

Has anyone experienced weight gain and are any of you just feeling stuck or unmotivated? I take 20 mg a day and feel bored. When I take Wellbutrin, Prozac and Topomax it made me mean. ## I take Lexapro 10 mg a day and I have gained excessive weight. I have tried Celexa, which I loved. I felt so good the first nine months I was on it, but guess what, it causes excessive weight gain with prolonged use. I have also been on Zoloft, which helped the depression, but I did not feel anything. Everything in my life was whatever. Kind of like the stuck feeling you are describing. I first took san-buproprion sr 150mg once a day. It was too strong in side-effects but helped my depression. My doctor then suggested and prescribed 100mg. But the pharmacist seemed confused about what to give me. I took it and I felt more depressed but no side effects. My doctor said to take 2 of them. I'm even worse! I looked on the bottle and it said SDZ Buproprion SR. Is that different than San-Buproprion Sr? I'm taking 2 a day. I'm wondering if it's the XL version that I'm supposed to take 1 time a day. I'm confused. I just want San-buproprion sr 100mg that I can take twice a day. I don't know if I have the wrong medicine from the pharmacist.

I have ADHD and a generalized mood disorder (also taking risperdal) and i have experienced a change after a couple months of Budeprion XL. At first my depressive symptoms improved (like when i took non-generic Wellbutrine for a month), but then my personality started to change. I no longer was feeling suicidal, but I lost motivation to live life passionately. I was no longer as quick-witted, funny, and social as I was before (even when I was in the midst of my depression). I feel like I am turning into a robot.

white round pill pliva 433 ## I am not sure what you are referring to with the word Alta, I cannot find anything listed under that name. Pliva 433 contains 50mgs of Trazadone, a generic for Desyrel an antidepressant. I did not find any interactions listed between Trazadone and Cymbalta, but I cannot check for them for your Thyroid caps without knowing, specifically, what kind of medication it is.

What kind of drug is Citalopram and does it contain MAOI? ## MAOI is not an ingredient, it is a class of drugs and no, Citalopram isn't in that drug class.
