I have never been a social person, but now I feel like I laugh and talk way too much. Then I started saying inappropriate things I don't mean. Does anyone have this problem. I never had this problem in the past as I was not very social. It seems that all of my judgement has gone right out the door. I am afraid to even open my mouth anymore. Please help ! ## Sorry about the problem that you're having. And yes, it is well known that some of these types of medications can have odd effects on some people that take them. While being more social and talkative isn't necessarily a huge problem, saying inappropriate things can definitely be an issue ...

Do anti depressants in general cause weight gain? ## Yes, most of them do cause it as a side effect, there are some that are known to cause it less frequently than others, but as whole, it's usually expected of most antidepressant medications. If you want to avoid it happening, you can talk to your doctor about prescribing the ones that cause lower instances of it and you can also try to increase your activity levels, as well as being very careful about your diet. Are there any other questions or concerns?

I'm taking oxycodene for pain "percaset" lower back surgery friend of mine told me to take this cause sometimes i have a hard time staying asleep he gave me the pliva 441 is this ok to use ??? ## No, it is never safe to take any medication that hasn't been specifically prescribed for you. This tablet contains 150mgs of Trazodone, which is a tetracyclic antidepressant and they can cause some pretty serious side effects, such as suicidal ideation, chest pain, fainting and priapism. Learn more Trazodone details here. It should only be taken with your doctors approval and supervision. Additionally, with the Percocet, it creates added risks, because of the way they both work. If you're having trouble sleeping, you should consult your doctor to get to the root of the probl...
I am 53 & never taken any meds other than aspirin, except Percoset lately for headaches from an annyerism surgery. I realized it helped with my anxiety. Dr. wants to put me on Cymbalta instead. Should I stay on Percoset or switch to Cymbalta ? Which side effects are worse ? ## Sorry, but it sounds like you are addicted to percoset. Many anti-depressants can help with addiction, and Cymbalta has been approved to treat some types of pain, but I don't think you should start if its anxiety that you are reporting. The percoset is only dulling your senses at this point. I'm guessing that it's physically jittering to NOT take it. That is not the same as anxiety from a psychiatric disorder, which usually starts earlier in life. It's like say you were feverish, so you started...
I have been on 20 mg of Citalopram for 29 days now and not feeling any different. Still did not want to come into work this morning, feeling very anxious and wanting to quit my job to the point my stomach is doing somersaults. Should I not be feeling some internal change by now? ## Yes, it should have started to have some effect after almost a month. However, not every medication works for everyone that tries it, so it could be that just isn't the right one to help you. Have you tried any others, or is this the first? ## Thanks Verwon. No, this is my first medication. Mind you my job is legitimately stressful so that may play into it as well. Funny, had all of the side effects on day two but just not the benefits.
It has a stylish v on it with 60 on one half and 61 on the other half it's white round bigger that a 50 round pill is this trazadone 100? ## Hi, Leah! Where did you find it? I believe you were actually looking at it upside down and the marking is 6160 V, but it's a 50mg tablet, not a 100mg tablet. Trazodone is a tetracyclic antidepressant and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Learn more Trazodone details here.
When I refilled my perscription for Trazadone, I though the pills looked different. they are small white round pills with a split line and PLIVA 433 stamped on them. The old ones were oval I think. The old bottle says Trazodone 50 mg Tablet APO. The new one says Trazodone 50 mg Tablet PLI What is the difference? ## Only the manufacturer! PLI on the new pills stands for Pliva Pharmaceuticals and the other ones were made by Apotex. Most pharmacies will switch according to whomever provides the cheapest option when they have to reorder. The medication, however, is the same. Do you have any other questions? ## There IS a difference! I have experienced tachcardia every night since switching from Apo to Pli. I am not happy! ## I have also felt jittery and had more problems sleeping on the pli...

I was taking 40 mg Fluoxetine (Prozac) per day as well as 150 mg. of Bupropion (Wellbutrin) twice daily. I have been taking the Prozac for 23 years with a gradual increase in dosage until about 10 years ago. I've been on the Wellbutrin for over 10 years. My (new) physician had me quit both cold turkey. He exchanged these meds with Fluvoxamine (100 mg.) at bedtime, Trazodone (50 to 100 mg.) at bedtime, and Gabapentin (100 mg.) 3 times daily. The switch was made a few weeks ago and I've since begun to retain an excessive amount of fluid, gained a considerable amount of weight (mostly fluid) and have become extremely irritable, to the point of having raging tantrums and crying spells. I am doing court ordered 10 panel drug tests 3 times a week (M,W,F) for possession of methamphetam...

I am a scientist working in pharmaceutics and I want to make sure we have the best generics as Wellbutrin is expensive! To do that I need really straightforward feedback! (specifically on 300mg XL) If you could list the makers/name of the formulation and your experience: (ie.) Wellbutrin XL : works Mylan: works, some pain Anchen: doesn't work. lots of pain This will be greatly appreciated! ## Wellbutrin contains the active ingredient Bupropion, which is an atypical antidepressant that's also used as a smoking cessation aid, so I am not sure what you are going for with the pain aspect here, since it's not an analgesic of any type. Thus, you may want to list the generic name and what you're actually looking for, since it seems you aren't talking about considerations th...

I have been on bupropion SR 100mg tablets twice daily for several years and am pleased with the results. This week my pharmacy filled my 3 month rx with bupropion ER (from 2 different manufacturers, slight color variation) with no mention of the switch other than explaining the color difference. Can I continue to take the ER twice a day? Contact my Dr.? Question the pharmacist? I see from previous posts that the prescribed dosing is usually different for SR & ER. Thanks ## I am not sure where you read that, but there is no difference between the SR and ER, they both just designate it as being a time released formulation of the medication, so the dosage would remain the same. You may also see other abbreviations used for it, such as CR, CD, XR and etc. but they all mean the same thin...
I found a small round blue pill with a cursive V on one side and 2101 on the other side. I am told it is amitriptyline, but the pictures of that has the v and number on the same side not the opposite side like the pill I found. ## This contains 10mgs of Amtirtiptyline, the active ingredient in the antidepressant Elavil. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and weight gain. Read more: Do you have any questions? ## found same pill, "V" on the pill looks like a 30mg oxycodone oral except my pill is darker blue and has 2101 stamped on other side. Could it be a combination of oxycodone and amtirtiptyline? ## No oxycodone is not present in that pill hun. I have same thing as u..I just looked it up to.
I took Wellbutrin and Wellbutrin XL for several years. It worked well for depression. I was then switched to the generic, Bupropion Hcl XL. This also worked well. I was then switched to "Buprop 24 XL". After a month or so, I had serious side effects. (Muscle spasms, increased depression, and my hands shook such that it affected my writing and the use of a keyboard.) About 2 months ago I switched back to the brand drug, Wellbutrin, and am almost back to normal. If Buprop 24 XL is identical to Wellbutrin (and to Bupropion), why the side effects? What companies make each of the three different drugs? ## Well to be honest, the generics and name brands aren't necessarily identical. I know they tell you that and they do so because for most people, it doesn't make a difference....
