Greetings! I've been on 50mg Pristiq since October after hitting an incredible low after weaning off of Effexor the previous July. Pristiq has worked really wonderful for me and I've suffered little to no side effects compared to when I was on Effexor; however, it's incredibly expensive and my withdrawl symptoms get dire pretty quickly. Due to broke I have resorted to getting meds from Mexico (so much cheaper! thank goodness for family that lives by the border). I have one more pill for tomorrow then I'll have maybe a 4 day lapse? Last time this happened things got ugly and I'm so afraid of that happening again. It's like I'm fine, stable, happy even and then about 12 hours after missing my dose I go into a suicidal spiral. I have been taking Lexapro 10 mg for a year. It controls my anxiety wonderfully. I started having itching (small bumps on my lower legs) which the dermatologist says are normal. I've also begun to have itching on my arms, my buttocks, my upper legs - pretty much all over. Has anyone ever heard of Lexapro causing these symptoms? ## Hello, Kathleen! How are you? Yes, it can cause itching as a side effect in some people that take it. After being on it for such a long time, if it hasn't gone away, you most likely need to speak to your doctor about trying a different medication. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am suffering from pain in my left ear like middle ear acheing ,pulling inside,sensation less and back neck acheing and left side back head acheing.Recently i had consulted with the neurologist , he suggested to take one tablet Tryptomer 10mg at every day night upto 3 months.Is it right medicine to be cured from above problems ? ## It is basically an antidepressant hope it helps for you but if you feel any side effects immediately contact your neurologist or phycatrist

Ludiomil belongs to the drug class tetracyclic antidepressants and is used in the treatment of depression panic disorder. I have been on lexpro (generic) since 2011 and due to insurance switching suddenly was off of 30mg all at once and made it through.... 2 weeks ago I was started again at 30mg all at once. I am realizing that over the last few days for sure I am not myself. I have been struggling leaving the house, etc. Has anyone had this experience of starting at such a high dose all at once and know how long it may last? ## It will most likely last a week or so, you should start to notice gradual improvement, rather than a sudden change. How are things going, now? Have they gotten any better? I have recently started taking pristiq (one week ago) 50 mgs a day and am very concerned that I may gain weight through taking this medication I am 19 yrs old and one of the main reasons for depression is weight issues etc and I am just wondering if anyone could please let me know if they experienced weight gain or weight loss? This small white pill was found in nephew's bedroom!! Definately a prescription drug, which was NOT prescribed to him. Help!!! Onlyarkings on pill are score- line on one side, and "50" on other side. Very small white, and football (or oval) shaped. ## How do you know it's a prescription medication? I've never seen this marking, without anything else, on any prescription medications in the U.S. Is it possibly something foreign? Hi all, Unfortunately some of these drugs have nasty side effects, but this is nothing compared to coming off them. Take it twice as slow as your doctor recommends, if you're still feeling the 'flu', take half a pill and it will help you get through it. Never buy generics.

I was told to get off Pristiq by a Neurologist and my GP. My doctor put me on Prozac to help with the symptoms of withdrawl from the Pristiq. I'm afraid of the 10th day when I won't be on anything. Will there be side effects from coming off the Prozac? Please tell me how long it took luvox to work please anyone out there take it what is your dose ## According to the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists, patients taking Luvox (fluvoxamine) could begin to see signs of improvement in appetite, energy, and sleep, within the first 1-2 weeks of use. They go on to state that symptoms of depression may require up to 6-8 weeks before noticing a full improvement. So from what I understand, it really depends on how severe each condition may be. Apparently the dose can also range anywhere from 50mg all the way up to 300mg. But only you & your doctor can effectively determine what amount is right for you. I hope this helps!

I am on my 6th day of Pristiq 50mg. and I am starting to feel like my old self. Still tired off and on. The first 4 day were hell. I felt awful. I felt nauseous, had a reoccurring small headache. My legs were achy and couldn't sleep. I finally took 1/2 of a Ativan (2.5mg) and that helped a lot. Each day gets better, so maybe there is hope yet. I hope so. Other antidepressants haven't done anything but make me lethargic. ## Hello, Andy Girl! How are you doing now that a few weeks have passed? I really hope the Pristiq works well for you, many people have had good results with it. The nausea, headache, aches and insomnia are all normal side effects, when you first start taking it.
