According to the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists, patients taking Luvox (fluvoxamine) could begin to see signs of improvement in appetite, energy, and sleep, within the first 1-2 weeks of use.
They go on to state that symptoms of depression may require up to 6-8 weeks before noticing a full improvement. So from what I understand, it really depends on how severe each condition may be.
Apparently the dose can also range anywhere from 50mg all the way up to 300mg. But only you & your doctor can effectively determine what amount is right for you.
