Hello, i've been feeling dizzy for a few days now and sometimes i see double or blurry. After the dizziness goes away my heart beats very fast. Hi I started on this drug 100mg twice a day for a suspected UTI infection this is the second day and I have terrible Diarrhea..I also have a rectal/vaginal fistula so you can imagine I have fecal leakage .my poo is not exactly watery and no blood as far as I can tell.I need to know if I should stop this med now or will the symptoms ease ..I feel Dizzy and have been slightly sick.please can you help me .Thank you . ## Diarrhea can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to the NIH, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach pain. I was given metronidazole for an abscess in my gum, but i have a bladder infection, and since i had sepsis in june i didn't want to take the risk, so i took nitrofurantoin the next day. I took a nasty fall and busted my lip really bad. There's a little pus and after 2 days, the swelling hasn't gone down. I was DX with H.pylori and given 4 meds. Doxycycline 2x a day. Omeprazole 2x a day. Metronidazole 4x a day. And pepto bismo tablets 4x a day. I don't have a clue how to take them . Most people get a kit. And I imagine that it's taken at all together . Please help! ## Hello, Racheal! How are you? I am taking Clindamycin for a wisdom tooth infection. It works great yet I want to forewarn any women who may decide to take it. It gave me a nasty yeast infection. I am talking about swollen lips, itchy, dry, very uncomfortable to sit for long periods of time. It seems most antibiotics help with one thing and cause other problems. Clindamycin breaks up proteins down there and it causes yeast to grow. If your doctor prescribed you this, get yourself some OTC (over the counter) yeast infection treatment when you go and get the meds from the pharmacy. ## That can be a normal side effect of most antibiotics, in both men and women, although of course for men, the yeast infections are usually only oral. Hi. After not taking my ARV's correctly, I went to my doctor then prescribed purbac ds for me because now I have lost too much weight but the problem now is, I am experiencing slide headache here and then and hv also seen the drops of blood as though am about to go on periods but this has being going on for two weeks. I noticed after using this for a severe upper respiratory infection i have had nothing but problems. I have had irregular bleeding and I'm not on any type of birth control and my cycles have always been regular. I also have been having pains in both of my hips expesully when I try to jog. I have a UTI and was taking urovec with tetracycline for 1 day and the discomfort of the uti has not subsided at all! I want to switch over and start taking amoxicillin asap which has worked really well in the past. I have left over cephalexin 500mg from 5/21/15. It expired 5/17/16 and I really would like to know if I can still take them? ## They do not become dangerous, once expired, but they do start to lose effectiveness so they may not work as well to eradicate infectious bacteria. You also may not have enough to take a full course of treatment to kill the relevant bacteria. Thus, it would be best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new supply. My daughter is sick and I have some liquid clindamycin in my cupboard not refrigerated. Can it last more than 3 months? ## How is your daughter doing? Has there been any change?
