Last year i had a check up with my doctor and she give me ciprofloxacin hcl (made by sandoz) because I'm experiencing pain in my breast... Now it's in pain again so i wanted to know if it's ok for me to take that medicine again? Please help me. Thank you. ## Have you had a mammogram? Can I use this med to treat a chest infection. I was probably given these for that reason to start with, but just making sure, as I can't get a appointment for 2 weeks and want it gone by then. I don't even know where to start. I have sores all over my legs and arms that have gotten infected. Behind my right ear I drained a big cyst and a smaller cyst (which at the time I thought was a pimple), my gums have infection coming out and I had either one huge everywhere or a couple cysts in my vagina that have drained. Some of the sores have healed and others have gotten worse. The skin by the corners of my nails where they are dried and cracked are starting to release infection. Dr gave me Bactrim without a visit. I'm supposed to be taking two doses of 100mg of doxy twice a day for ten days for upper respiratory infection. On my third day, but have only taken it once a day due to forgetting to take my second pill each day. Does this mean that I won't get rid of the infection because I'm not taking it right? Is the one a day ok taking even going to benefit me? I had a tooth taking out and then dry socket and now a terrible infection around the next tooth. Pain into my ear and throat. I was on Amoxicillin for over 2 weeks and it is not doing anything. My question is there another Antibiotic out there that would help me better then the Amoxicillin. ?? I was thinking of Keflex maybe ?? Im allergic to penicillin and cipro. The Dr gave me ceftin for UTI. I had scalp itch the first dose and bad head stuffiness with the second. I had read that penicillin is like ceftin. I had a stem cell transplant almost 4 years ago. I have been on bactrim, diflucan, tacrolimus and valtrex for 4 years. I am having pain in my upper arm, thoracic spine and cervical spine. It's muscle/tendon issues not bone. I started clindamycin about 30 hours ago. Before I got it my wisdom tooth was hurting excruciatingly, and I had a bit of swelling. After taking it, the pain is pretty much gone, but the swelling has gotten worse. My question is; does the swelling usually get worse at first after taking this medication? And about how long before it improves? I'm very nervous. I always think the worst. Lol. Any answer would help.
