But for how many days? ## Hi Barbara, The number of days you take something is usually determined by your prescribing doctor and/or the pharmacist who dispenses the medication. It would also depend on how many pills you were given... However if you had gotten them over-the-counter in Mexico, then I can see how that information may not have been properly conveyed... That said, I can only speak from my own personal experience taking various types of antibiotics for general bacterial infections, in that I'd usually take anywhere from 1 to 3 tablets a day until I run out.
