Our grandson was prescribed the liquid pink Amoxicillin recently. He is 13 years old and quite capable of swallowing pills. Why would a doctor prescribe this method to someone this age? Also, when the doctor was told that the boy was leaving, the next day, on a trip and there was no way to refrigerate this med, we were told that he would get it in it's powdered form and it could be mixed with sterile water. WTH, why not just prescribe an antibiotic in pill form? Updated in CefiximeI've been on sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim 800/160mg for a while. I was told it would clear up an infection I have in my gums. I've been on it noticing red spots as if somebody bruised me on my arms and the urinating thing, I noticed a couple people have mentioned that it caused problems urinating very slow and not emptying your bladder. I'm believing from other people's complaints that this company is just not taking it seriously as the same complaints have been arising and the answers they give are brushed off. To me there's too many big pharmaceutical companies and it's all about the Mighty Dollar. That's all they care about. Pharmaceutical companies have killed and injured so many people. If you think about it think about all the people who are employed. ...
