Switching From Ofloxacin To Zithromax

I have been taking ofloxacin 400mg for 10 days now and I think it's not working that well for me. The last time I took it was this morning. Can i switch right away to zithromax 500mg in the evening?

You can, if your doctor has instructed you to do so. Why don't you think it is working well for you? Has there been any change in the infection being treated?

The NIH lists the typical antibiotic side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

Are you on any other medications?
