I have been perscribed Clindaderm for a skin infection? That could possibly be staph. They didnt tell me what it was. I am almost done, and the infection is no longer visible, and I have only taken one pill today as I rememered I may roll on E. Is this safe? I dont want to start vomitting or have a bad roll and it be dangerous. No letures about E itself please. I am safe, and am aware. ## Hi Julesmp, To be safe with an estimate, I would say that it takes Clindamycin (Clina-Derm) approximately 30-35 hours to be completely out of your system from the time of your last dose. the pharmacist wasn't very clear on the directions and this is a very large pill so I didn't know if my son could swallow this or not or if I could break it in half it is pink and has rx 763 on the front of it. ## Hi Teresa, The pill which you have is the 875 mg dose of Amoxicillin manufactured by Ranbaxy. You should be able to break it in half at the score mark and have your son swallow each half of the pill seperately. As far as the dosage goes, I would be sure to follow the instructions on the prescription label - So if your son is supposed to take the 875 mg each time, then please ensure he is getting the full dose (even if you're breaking the pill in half).
