It is sold under several brand names, including: Biaxin, Klabax, Claripen, Infex and others.

It is used to treat many types of infections such as: tonsilitis, sinusitis, chronic bronchitis and pneumonia as well as others.

Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, diarrhea and skin rash.
