I am taking a pill with A34 marked on it - Ceftin generic. It seems to disintegrate in my mouth and tastes horrible!!! I'm afraid that the binder is not working and that it will not release over a 12 hour period as it should. Can anybody confirm this or help me understand it? ## Just because you take a pill every 12 hours does not mean it is a time released tablet. Did the prescription or bottle specifically say it was time released and warn you not to crush or chew it? Because, if it didn't then it isn't and I am not away of a there being a time released formulation of Ceftin on the market. whats calvepen 666 for ## Calvepen is not from the US, it's a product of Ireland. I did however locate the ingredient which is Penicillin. My elderly mother is taking this drug and is sleeping , almost non responsive. Could the medication be causing this? ## Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim is an antibiotic used to treat different types of infections. Drowsiness can be a side effect, however, if she is being treated for an infection, it could also be caused from her being ill. Is she on any other medications, as well? I suggest calling her doctor to get to the root of the problem. Over the Internet, I can only guess at what might be causing the problem. After viral in last week of august again i had dengue From october 03. on oct 10 i came out. But My fever remains 99 to 99.6 throughout the day. My doctor gave me Augmentin 650 but no relief, Stomach tab but no relief. At last My doctor gave me oflox 400.
