my 11 month has croup and was prescribed steriods and is no better after 4 days , is is safe to give her pinamox antibiotic ## Piramox contains Amoxicillin, which is an antbiotic and will only help if her problem is caused by an infection. I would assume it isn't and that is why her doctor didn't prescribe antibiotics in the first place. The steroid is not an instant solution and it will take time to work, 4 days is not enough, you should continue the course of treatment for the time period that your doctor suggested. I located several pills that are a light tan color, but with out any markings it is difficult to determine the correct pill. If Statin is correct, it is used for lowering blood cholesterol. It may be 15 to 20 years old. ## I found a drug which I believe to be an antibiotic (maybe). It is old so I will be throwing it away but I am curious to know exactly what it is. The inscription on one line on the yellow half and the black half of the capsule is RUGBY and the next line is 1870 on both halves.

which antibiotic is hard ## Zenflox is from India and contains the active ingredient Ofloxacin. Which antibiotic is better actually depends on the infection being treated, so you didn't provide enough information for me to answer your question. i just started last night taking the amoxicilina 500 mg and I was awake all night it there any chance this would cause that to happen ## This is not a normal side effect, but medications can affect everyone differently, so you should probably contact your doctor to be sure. There are many things that can cause it. One possibility would be that the drowsiness he experiences from the medication is not allowing him to wake up when he has to urinate.

I am female and have suffered for 6 years with inflammation & painful passing of urine since an operation for prolapse of rectum. Repeated bacterial infection has been treated with antibiotics. I have now been prescribed 3 months treatment of Zoxan 4 mg (1 tab daily) but after 10 days am having considerable side effects and no decrease in difficulty & pain in passing urine - if anything inflammation is increasing.
