Terramicina contains Oxytetracycline, which is an antibiotic. Therefore, it is not an effective treatment for Herpes, because it is caused by a virus and is incurable.

The only way it may help is if some of the Herpes lesions have gotten infected, then it can help with that problem, but it will not have any effect on the actual Herpes Virus.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea.
