my father is 85+ he is apart from normal motion at least once in two week getting watery loos motion making more uncomfortable for him. some times its not getting controlled with normal usual treatment ( loparamide / ciprofloxacin / metronidazole ) is it weekness of the intestain ? please

I have just been prescribed Macrodantin for a UTI, 5 hours after taking this, I have shortness of breath a little bit of tightness in neck. So thought I would take an antihistamine to take away the feeling. Is it ok to take these two together for the duration of my treatment which is 7 days?

So if you are allergic to one of them, you may not be allergic to the other. Because I am not an MD this is just an educated opinion. I'm a pharmacist trying to identify some mexican drug names told to me by a patient. One was "Soltrim"...which I discovered was Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim ("Bactrim" in the USA). But I can't find what the trade names "Enzmat" and "Espabion" are. Are Sulfameth/tmp ds tab good for Sinus Infection. these were given to me by my doctor back in 11/10/2010, ## Sulfamethoxazole + Trimethoprim is a sulfonamide antibacterial combination of Trimethoprim and Sulfamethoxazole, in the ratio of 1 to 5, used in the treatment of a variety of bacterial infections. That said, I would assume that it is beneficial for a sinus infection; but not being a doctor myself I cannot be 100% certain of this.
