Please Help!!!! I have been taking this med for 7 days. Its my second oral antibiotic, and ive had 2 injections. ALL of these in the last month for same illness. Im wondering if i am having an allergic reaction to this particular med because i am soooo nauseated, fever wont go down (continuous fever and body aches for over a month) and now my left side is hurting. ive never taken this med before. And have not had a fever since i was a child. ## Doxycycline is a tetracycline class antibiotic, used to treat various types of infections. As to the nausea and body aches, those aren't allergic reactions, but can be normal side effects of using this medication. UTI NITROFURANT M/M 100MG CAPS ## Nitrofurantoin monohydrate / macrocrystals (100 mg). It is usually used in treating urinary tract infection. To view information about this drug, please click on the link below... Do you have any more questions or information to add? Please post back if you do. ## can i open the capsule and take whats inside? i cant swallow pills. ## I know plenty of individuals who have trouble with swallowing pills and need to empty the capsule into water to ingest it. It may however be an unpleasant taste, but if you do it with little amounts of water you can drink it quickly and then wash it down with more water afterwards. I feel like that is the best approach, but feel free to post back if you have any other questions or comments regarding this.

I am having severe cold and fever. Can I take MOX capsule. If so what is the dosage vaidyanathan ## I got the sprain pain in ankle . can i take capsule mox and what is the dosage ## Mox contains the active ingredient Amoxicillin, it is an antibiotic and, as such, it will only help with infections and the dosage varies, depending on the severity and type of infection being treated. This means it will not help with a cold, since that is caused by a virus and it will do nothing to help with a sprained ankle, which involves muscle and ligaments. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea. Improper use of this medication can cause you to develop antibiotic resistance, which can be a dangerous condition, if you get an infection. Are there any questions or comm...

I am a senior citizen and can't afford medications. Every year I get sinus infections because of the huge amount of trees and other plants in WA. This is the perfect antibiotic for me it works every time. My best friend who lives in CA used to get this for me in Mexico, but she has a new doctor who perscribes what she needs so I no longer have access. It costs me $215 to see the doctor and $45 for the prescription. I cannot afford that so if you dont help me I will die ## I'm sorry, but do no manufacture, prescribe, nor sell any medications, this is an information only website. I am very sorry to hear that you are suffering, however. Have you tried to look into any assistance programs for seeing the doctor and getting prescriptions? I was told by my son's Pediatirician that this was not penicillin (as he is allergic to PCN). Now after reading several discussions about this med, I'm worried. Please respond ASAP! Thank you, a concerned mother. ## If he is allergic to PCN he should not take this medication. It is a close cousin to the penicillin family and he will also be allergic to it. I am also allergic to amoxicillin (pcn sister) and I was given this medicine for a ear infection and started getting hives in my face n swelling eyelids and tingly mouth. I stopped the omnicef when symtoms developed. So pls dont give to your son.
